Chapter 13: Confrontations

Lexi mind-linked me, letting me know she was on a mission to collect Ares' Luna; I blocked her because she lied to me, and I was hurting. I said, "Wow, Ares has a Luna, and my mom was his fated mate, or should I call him Aidan?" I was brought out of my thoughts as I made the turn onto his territory; I needed to talk to him or punch him, whichever came first. He had many chances to tell me the truth, but he said nothing. My mom kept his identity from me, knowning he was back, and I hit the steering wheel with my hand in anger. She looked at me and said, "Kyan, I am sorry, don't go there like this, he is not a bad man, he just had his life stolen from him." I wanted to keep quiet, and I blurted out, so Roman was right, you are f*****g him, and she went silent, seeing tears come out of her eyes, and I felt awful, hurting her like that.

I jumped out of the car with my mother on my heels, Delta Skye looked at us, and I yelled at him, demanding to know where his brother was. He looked concerned for my mother after seeing her bruised face, and I was going to ask about his real identity since Aidan was back, Ty and Draxon had to be back as well. Skye chased after me, trying to stop me from interrupting their alpha, but I was dead set on confronting him. I barged through the door and saw him playing games with his loyal foot soldiers, knowing that if what my mother said was true, then they were all back. I ran toward him and yelled, "You lied to me!" Aidan turned around and saw my mother's face, feeling strong aura's, which didn't affect me much; they were trying to calm me down when my mother said, "He knows," and Aidan looked at me, disappointed in himself and said, "We were going to tell you," but I changed into my wolf and attacked Aidan.

I was in wolf form, and my father looked at me as I watched my bite heal; he tore off his shirt and linked me, saying, "I'm sorry, Kyan, please understand." I blocked him as I attacked again; this time, he dodged me and kicked me back until I hit the tree, breaking it in half, looking sorry, and Mom yelled, "Please stop." She was crying, and I changed back to my human form, but I was still angry, Aidan said, "Can we talk now? I never meant to hurt you or lie to you." I was angry at him, at Mom, and Roman; all these years, I felt alone, with no connection to Roman, just constant belittlement to be a better King, wondering if he loved me. All those years, and now I understand why; I was not Roman's favorite child, he had to sense in some way that I was not his. I sat on the lawn as Ty walked up with pants and handed them to me; Aidan looked at me, feeling sorry for breaking my rib, but it will heal.

I got up and still tackled him and punched him in the face taking my anger out, Ty went to pull me off him along with Toffe and he shook his finger, "No," I didn't realize I was crying until he wiped my tears mind-linking me, "I'm sorry, I wasn't there for you, I couldn't and I wished that I had been there, my son." I stop hitting him, lean on his chest, crying, letting out all my frustration bottled up over the years living with that maniac I call a father. After what seemed like hours, it was just a few minutes, but no one was around, leaving me with my dad to talk, his face healed and I said, "You could take hits, old man," and he laughed a hearty laugh and say, "You need training, you hit like a b***h," and I laughed too. My wolf wanted to meet him, so I said, "Xaio wants to meet you," and he asked, "Which part of me?" I laughed and said, "All of your personalities," and he smiled as King came forward and hugged me. I never felt so much love as in that moment; we talked for a few more minutes and went for a run together.

After our run, we went back inside, showered, and changed as I met with my Beta and Gamma to talk to Lily; we wanted to find out what happened at Roman's place. Lily explained what happened, and I wanted to rip his head off for abusing my mate; I told her, "You are never going back to him, and that is final." "He will come for her," Ty said, and I smiled, saying, "And I will be waiting." Kyan looked at us and said, "So my dad is dying then?" Looking torn, I showed him what happened to us and what his mother went through before he was born, and he was shocked that Roman did all of it and stole everything from me; he understood now why 'his dad' would die. Kyan said, "I know you have a good plan to take revenge, so were you planning on killing me and my sisters?"

I looked at him remorsefully and said, "Yes, but that has changed, and I would never hurt you or your sisters, as you can see, Issy is mated to my 'adopted' little brother," and Toffe smiled. Kyan decided to spend the night, and I requested that Michelle return to the pack lands. Roman is a loose cannon, and I want her safe; Lexi opened a portal and walked through with Michelle and her sister. I hugged her, but she just looked at me and asked, "What did I miss?" I took a breath as everyone cleared the room; I didn't know how to tell her everything, so I showed her, and she looked at me like she felt sorry for me before kissing me and saying, "I love you, Aidan, and unfortunately, you have two mates; it's rare, but it happens. My mom had two mates, as my sister reminded me, so I'm willing to give it a try."

I kissed her passionately, and she mind-linked me, "I still don't like Lily but we will be a power trio," she wrapped her legs around me and I moaned saying, "We should stop," and she said, "It had been a week, Aidan, I miss my man," and I vampire speed to our bedroom. I kissed her mark, hearing these sweet little moans I love to hear as her arousal blooms in the air; my counterparts wanted out, but I held them back. I sucked her soft lips as she opened her mouth, letting me in to kiss her passionately; I rubbed and caressed her hardened n*****s. I kissed her chest between her firm breasts before taking her n****e in my mouth as she lifted her back off the bed, knowing how much I missed her. I kissed her stomach down to her little snub, and a moan left her mouth; I started to finger her, watching her face contort with pleasure, knowing she was on the brink of cuming before I lapped up her juices.

We made passionate love, confessing our love for one another before I received a link from Toffe saying, "Alpha, sorry to interrupt, Roman is at the border for Lily, do you want me to take care of it?" I smiled and said, "Handle it, because if I come down there, he is a dead man, and I am not ready to kill him until I make my son king." Toffe acknowledged and closed the link; it was early morning, Michelle was asleep after I had worn her out lastnight, so I got up to check on Lily in the next room. She was sleeping with a hand covering her baby bump, and I smiled; I touched her bruised face, healing it. I was angry that Roman put his hand on her again, and I turned to walk away when she said, "Don't leave," and I cuddled with her until she went back to sleep, and then I joined Michelle in the bath. I had two mates whom I love very much; they don't see eye to eye, and I was to blame for that, but hopefully, they will get along eventually because they are destined to be with me.

Two Days Later

Kyan was still mad at me because I never told him about Aidan; he was down in the gym working out, so I decided to confront him. Since returning from his father's mansion, he slept in the guest room, avoiding me, and I was torn on what to do; I saw 'acting Delta' Jett making a sandwich, and he looked at me and asked, "Do you want me to make one for you, Luna?" I smiled and declined, turning to see a pregnant Jenny looking at me; I knew she didn't like me and was more pissed at getting mated to Jett after getting pregnant for him. I heard rumors about her secretly loving Kyan for years, until I came into the picture; I left them alone and walked into the gym, where he was working out with Fallon and their Gamma, Max Cooper. Kyan looked up at me when Fallon said, "Talk to her," and nodded for Max to leave us alone.

I stood in front of Kyan, looking up at him; I said, "I am sorry, it wasn't my place to say that your biological father was back; you didn't know he existed." He shook his head and said, "It's not that you kept the secret from me; it's that everyone kept me in the dark, and we are mated, we should share important stuff like this." I said, "Kyan, you would think we were crazy, that's why Elder Kyle gave you the book, he wanted you to open your mind about the possibility that Roman was not your father, and you asked the questions that no one would." He smiled and said, "That's why you have so much money in your bank account; they paid you a lot as their resident witch, so who else is planning the coup?" I stared at him, not sure of what to tell him, and he smiled, saying, "You still think I wil tell Roman."

Aidan tapped in and said, "Forgive her, Ky, she was acting on my orders; I will tell you everything you need to know," and then he heard the voices of all of Aidan's allies in our heads. Kyan pulled me in for a kiss as the link closed; he moaned and said, "My father is a powerful man returning to avenge his death." I confirmed it, and he said, "I don't know how I feel about it," when I decided to tell him why I left Darmonth after my first mate was killed. Kyan looked at me as I told him how Roman brutally raped me after he killed my mate for a mistake that wasn't really his fault. I felt his anger in the bond, and I held his hand, calming him down, saying, "I am over it, but that vision never leaves me." When he said, "I got there late, I had the proof to save him from execution, but Roman acted on impulse, I'm sorry, Lexi." I kissed him and he hugged me, promising never to hide anything from each other again, and he said, "I smell your scent when I got to the room, but you weren't there, I could have been mated to you before I met my son's mother," and he kissed me again feeling his love and regret in the bond.
