Chapter 15Their nurse insisted Ken sleep by the fire, instead of nestled in her tent with Yuuki. And she wasn’t allowed to sleep on her side, either, so cuddling was mostly impossible. Still, Yuuki curled up next to her and carefully draped one arm across Kenna’s stomach. With a little liquid assistance, Ken managed to sleep a few hours that night.
The next day was uneventful. They couldn’t leave with Kenna on the injured list, so they simply sat around, talking, tending to the fire, and keeping watch for danger. There was always a chance that some of Moíra’s underlings and pets survived. In that case, they had to make sure none of them made their way to Le Roy.
