Westley POV
I was supposed to get married today to Arianna when I got her message. "I am not going to marry you. My son and I are leaving. I'm sorry I just don't love you anymore." Texted Arianna. I called her and when she picked her up, she answered so rudely. "What do you want? I told you that you I can't marry you. I am sorry, but I do not love you, "Said Arianna.
Well, then pack up your s*** and your sons s*** take the 10 million dollar check from Betty and get out of my house & never come back. She couldn't marry me, but the question still remains why? I felt like I didn't know her or love her, but I am glad I saw this now before we got married. We were arguing for what seemed like forever ever when I got a tap on my shoulder. I turned to face her. Clearly, she was supposed to get married today to the love of her life, but obviously he didn't love her back.
I put my phone to my chest asking her to give me a minute. I walked over to an area where I could talk a little more freely to my now ex-fiance. Look, Arianna, I have loved you from day one, & I have done everything and anything I could do to make you see that. I was ready to raise your son as my own, I was ready for you guys to live with me, I was ready for everything with you both. Now I see I was just a tool, so you could get what you really wanted. Now we are through, & I expected you & your son to move out by the end of the day.
I gave my maid a check for you because I had a feeling you were only after my money. DO NOT COME CRAWLING BACK!!!!!! I quickly hung up on her and faced the woman who tapped me on the shoulder a while ago. I could tell she was nervous. She asked me to marry her and for some reason I couldn't help but say yes. I was already supposed to be married today, and it looked like she was too.
This was going to be an interesting marriage to be with a woman I didn't even know, and now I would have to get to know her. I knew my mother would not like her, but I didn't care. I had a feeling she was working hard and, knowing her, she was not going to stop working. I kind of wanted to move her to my building to work for me, but I didn't know what she did and who she worked for already. All I knew was she was hurting from her ex-fiances betrayal, but she was happy to be away from him at the same time. I asked one of my men, Jack, to background check on her and see where she worked, her family, and all the other history on her.
I went down for breakfast and took some back up to her and left a note that I was going to be in my office, and that Betty, my maid, would be in at around 9:00 am to check on her. I hoped all would be OK, and I was hoping she wasn't allergic to anything that was on the tray for breakfast. I put everything out of my mind and began to get my work going. After about 3 hours, Jack came in to report what he had found out so far. " Sir, so far I found out she lost her mother when she was 10 years old, and her dad remarried when she was about 14, maybe 15 years old, and then her father died when she was 17 years old. She worked at a restaurant part-time until she graduated from high school.
She hid as much of her money until she was able to move out, and then she graduated from college at the top of her class with all A's. She was named valid Victorian at her college, where she denied it and passed it on to someone else. She started to work for a clothing store full time as an accountant until she got sick and was hospitalized for three months after she had been there for about 3 years. They let her go so she could get better 100% first, and then she could go back to work for them. She went to work for a law firm as a legal counsel who could spot flaws and embezzlement from companies with their accounts, and she left that job 4 years after working there. She wrote a statement that she couldn't mentally handle this job because she felt it was too much.
Now she is working as an accountant for the company that you are buying right now. She is allergic to walnuts, peaches, and, surprisingly, she is allergic to raspberries, food wise. When I tried to look at some of her medical I kept getting stonewalled. I could see she was allergic to certain medications, but I was unable to see the list and I could see she had broken some bones, but I don't know what all she broke. When she feels comfortable, we should probably ask her about it. I noticed it started to happen more and more after her father died.
Her stepmother has had custody of her since she was 17 and her father died. She gave all her tips every other night to help pay for bills that should have already been covered while she lived with her stepmother until she moved out. She is 23 now, and she is done with her Bachelors degree, and she was supposed to be given an inheritance of 30 billion from her father, who scrimped and scraped to save that money for her, and she still has not gotten it. I suspect that her stepmother spent all that money on her and her selfish daughter who took her fiancé. She picked you because she must have seen something in you, sir. I think this girl is one of a kind. You better keep her.
I like her, and she seems to really care for you. I know you had Betty check on her, but I had Marleen check on her just thirty minutes ago to make sure she was doing OK. She is doing fine. Marleen had to get her different food because she was allergic to some of the food that was on the plate. She ate an omelet with some cheese, bacon, sour cream, and spinach. She drank some orange juice, but she did let Marleen know that we couldn't get the Hiland Dairy Brand anymore because it actually makes her sick because it is too acidic for her to drink.
She got sick from the orange juice about twenty minutes after she drank it. She is lying down now and is asleep. She has a trash can next to her, and she has been getting sick in her sleep and woke up and made it to the trash can, and that as far as she has made it. The cook plans to make her some Campbell's tomato soup with some grilled cheese and a tablespoon of brown sugar to help with the acidity factor as well. For now, getting to know her is going to take some time, but I suggest you stay close to her. She is currently on vacation leave for three weeks from work for the honeymoon period.
Maybe when she is feeling a little more up to it, then maybe take her away for a little bit. Let her get to know you and you know her. You guys, I feel like you would make a good match and I see that she is good for you too, sir. I feel like you both care about each other, and you are good for each other. It might do her some good to get out of here for a few days. I can make some arrangements if you would like, sir?" said Jack.
I knew he was writing, so all I could do was nod my head. Can you find a good place for us to go? I would like to get her some new clothes. When I come home in a week I would like my grandmother to meet her. I know she will be happy that I am married and my wife is beautiful, and I want to show her off. Would you have some stores bring over some products tomorrow so she can pick out some new clothes?
I know she probably does not want to risk running into her stepmother, stepsister, or her ex-fiance again. I want her to feel comfortable, so if there is another place she would like to shop in, please do the same thing for her and maybe have Betty or Marleen or both with her so she can maybe show them what she is getting. I know she will probably want some support and I think of Betty as more of a mother to me than my own mother. She was there for me when I needed her, and I think Betty will do great with her too. I feel like Marleen is more like a little sister to me, so maybe having someone who is going to be a good friend to her will help. I will get to see her wear some of the clothes on the honeymoon. Also, anything she wants to order, please get it for her, even if it's lemons and honey, I want her to feel at home here.
