Westley POV
This woman made me wonder about her more and more. I knew the clothes team was going to come in around noon and I told Betty and Marleen to both be with her when they had the clothes people come in. I wanted her to pick some fancy clothes for when we went to the galas, balls, grand openings, and more. I also wanted her to get some work outfits and I wanted her to be comfortable. I hoped she would like some of the places. Marleen told Jack that she had two stores that she liked, and they had a new outfit that she wanted to get for work, and she wanted to try it on.
I added them to the list and whatever she did not keep would be charged to my card. When Betty showed me the condition of the suitcases and the condition of her clothes, I felt my heart break for her. Her father was an accomplished man, and he did everything he could to take care of her even after her mother's death. Then, when he died, he tried to make sure she had something that was going to be beneficial to her. Marleen came in for a little bit after she texted Jack letting him know she needed to talk to both of us about Olivia. When she came in and told me she was struggling today because of the weather change with the rain that was going on, I told her to stay with her and have Betty stay with her too.
I had a special dressing room set up for her, and I was now going to put a special chair in there for her so she could get up and sit down a little easier. When Marleen was in their house, she asked if we could look up her full medical history, and she said she would call first thing Monday morning to have them faxed over in my office. I sent Marleen to spend the day with her to make sure she was fine and to do a movie with her until the clothes people were to arrive. I felt maybe this would do Marleen some good to have someone her own age around her and Olivia needed a friend. She didn't have very many from what Marleen told me she only had one best friend that she worked with. I just hoped she would like all of this and then the vacation I planned for us. We would leave on Monday for Hawwaii and come back in two weeks and, thankfully, Jack got it all set up for us.
Olivia POV
Marleen came back after a while, and it was about 10:00a.m. when she suggested that we watch a movie and that Westley told her to hang out with me and enjoy ourselves until the in-house shopping spree was ready. We decided to watch the Live Free or Die hard series. Luckily, I was able to find the first one. We watched that with a bag of popcorn between us and I drank some more lemon water with honey. I felt better when I drank it and I had a doctor tell me that because it has a lot of health benefits when you drink lemon honey water. When the movie was over, Betty came and got us to let us know that the shopping spree people were there and had everything set up if I was ready to go and look. When we went into the other room, I saw the dressing room area and said that there was a chair put in there for me in case I needed it.
I walked over to a mirror that had a note attached to it. I peeled it off and read it out loud. " Dear Olivia, I hope that you like this mirror. I bought it for you to have put in your closet or in the bathroom so you can see how beautiful you will look no matter what you wear. Please enjoy today and get anything you like, no matter the cost. I want you happy, and please pick out some nice outfits as I am taking you on a vacation, and we are leaving on Monday. I also would like you to buy some nice fancy outfits for galas, balls, etc. Please pick out some nice shoes to go with them as well.
Please have a great time and show off to Mrs. Betty and Marleen as much as you want. It's a girls' day. You have fun and I will order us some lunch for when you are done, and we can eat together and, of course, Betty and Marleen will join us for lunch. Enjoy your day, and I'll see you at 1:30." From Westley. I held the note close to my chest, feeling the weight of the world lift off my shoulders. I had never felt this way in a long time, and I was happy to feel this again.
I missed feeling this way, and now I am happy to have this feeling again. After a few minutes of catching my breath, I began to shop for the things I liked and even found a few things I liked that I didn't even know I would like. I found a lot more than I realized, and I was glad I found some new things for work. I looked for more casual clothes, and I was able to find quite a bit. I really hoped that I would be able to find more. After about an hour and a half of shopping, I was happy to find out what I liked and then to have dinner and a movie with Betty, Westley, and Marleen.
I was told that we were leaving on Monday for a vacation that would be our honeymoon. I hoped that would work out. I honestly looked forward to the vacation. I have busted my ass off, and I could use one after everything I have been through. This would actually be the first vacation I have gotten to go on since before my father died. My dad took me on one vacation before he passed away, and it was when I was 15, my stepmother and stepsister went with us, and it was a separate vacation from their honeymoon.
My step-grandparents came and stayed with us for 2 weeks and when it came to birthdays and holidays they always got her gifts, but never me. I had enough nerve to ask one day after dad had died, and they told me I was never their granddaughter and that their biological deserved more than a spoiled brat like me. I never asked for anything, and I was just curious why I didn't get the same treatment that my stepsister got. It was going to be nice though to have a vacation for the first time in a long time. We finished the rest of the movie, and I decided I wanted to go back to reading my book for a bit before dinner. Westley sat with me in the living room while I read with my legs laying over his as he gently rubbed my leg to let me know he was still there. I read my book till I fell asleep, apparently, because when I woke up a bookmark was placed back into my book, I was covered up, and Westley was standing in front of me getting ready to tap on me to wake me up.
I sat up slowly as I removed the blanket off of me. I knew I had done that several nights when I was on my own with my ex- fiancé, but he was never kind enough to cover me up. He would just leave me be and go to bed himself. When I went to stand up I was a bit wobbly, and thankfully he caught me and helped me get my balance back. He walked with me to dinner and I ate as much as I could. I had been feeling sick for the past couple of weeks, and I was thinking it was stress, but now that I had thought about it, I had not gotten my period for about a month in a half.
