The Last Descedent

Long ago, the Moon Goddess Luna created a divine race of powerful creatures, known as werewolves. Selene blessed these creatures with the gift of shape shifting in hopes to blend into human society. Above all other wolves were the Edessa Clan, the first born, direct descendants of the Roman Moon Goddess. The women in the Crescentini royal family, had fur as white as snow, and eyes golden as the sun. They spoke only in a native tongue that has been lost for centuries. Over the centuries, neighboring tribes grew jealous of Edessa and the endless blessings their goddess had bestowed upon them. Many began to plot the execution of the royal family, their mission finally complete only several years ago when the last remaining descendants of Luna were murdered in cold blood and the young princess Virginia, taken, never to be seen again.
