Haru’s Point of View

During the last two hours until the doctors said Rin would wake up, Haru received a call from his mother. His mother had called to let him know that the food he had asked his mother to prepare for Rin was ready. She also told him to pick it up.
After Haru replied that he would come, he quickly walked out of the room and also informed the nurse. He got into his car and drove home. After he reached home, he decided to take a quick shower. While his mother was packing the soup and some food in the container, he went to his room. He opened his wardrobe and took out a change of clothes. He stripped as he entered his bathroom. He turned on the shower and stepped into the area after checking the temperature.
He took a quick shower. He did not want Rin to feel alone when she woke up. He wanted to be near her. He quickly dried off and changed into the fresh set of clothes. His hair looked messy but he did not care. He walked out of his bedroom and into the kitchen.
As soon as he set foot into the kitchen, his mother said, “Sweetie, everything is ready. Are you going to eat something here right now?”
Haru replied, “No mom, I need to go back soon.”
Haru then walked towards his mother and picked up the basket where she had packed the containers with the food. He looked at his mother and smiled at her. He spoke, “Thank you mom. I am going to go now. I will come home soon.”
His mother smiled back and nodded at him. Haru then walked out of the house. He opened the car door of the back seat and placed the basket on it. He closed the door and then got into the driver’s seat. He put the key in and started driving to the hospital.
He felt a little refreshed after the shower. He reached the hospital and parked his car. He got out of the car and opened the door of the back seat. He picked up the basket and closed the door. Then he walked into the hospital and towards Rin’s room. When he reached the room, he pushed open the door. He glanced at Rin and she was still sleeping.
