Chapter 46

Haru's Point of View Haru drove back to the hospital. After parking his car, he got out of the car and opened the door of the back seat. He took out his duffle bag and then locked his car. He walked back to the hospital room where Rin was. When he pushed opened the door of the room, he saw a nurse changing Rin's IV which was finished. As soon as he walked inside, the nurse looked at him and smiled. She spoke, "You are back ." Haru replied as he smiled back, "Yes. Here for the routine check up?" The nurse nodded at him. After she was done, she reminded him to call her if anything happens and left the room. Haru then walked towards Rin's bed. He sat on the stool and gently touched her head He whispered, "I am back. Just like I said I would" and smiled even though he knew she would not see it. ****

For the next forty hours, Haru did not leave the hospital except for the times he went out to get some food and coffee for himself. The hospital had a cafeteria but Haru was not sure if he could eat it so he opted to go out for a short amount of time.
