Chapter 10

Violet's POV. I had no idea why I was crying, I was just sitting there alone doing nothing and then this sudden wave of emotion came over me and I started bawling. "Pathetic, right?" Sebastian rushed over to my side, asking me what was wrong, but I couldn't answer. I couldn't tell him I was crying for no reason without sounding stupid. So I just kept crying until I was done. "Why were you crying?" Sebastian asked. "I miss you and I was home alone," I replied. He looked at me, raising his eyebrow, asking if I was serious and I nodded my head. "Oh, I'm sorry, dear. I had to go discuss something with Mum," he said. "Have you eaten?" he asked me and I shook my head no. The truth was that I was hungry, but I didn't know what to cook. He asked me what I wanted and I said anything. He went to the kitchen to make us something to eat since he hadn't eaten at his mum's place. After we finished eating, he told me he had something to discuss with me. "What do you think about getting trained with my mum?" he asked. "What kind of training?" I replied. "I want her to train you about the duties of a Luna and also the do's and don'ts," he said. I didn't see anything wrong with this and I knew it was for the best, so I told him yes. "Alright then, when do you think it would be a convenient time for you?" he asked. "Morning should be good," I replied and he said he would ask his mum about it and we went to bed. I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach, it was burning red and I started to roll around on the bed. Sebastian was giving me a concerned look, asking me what was wrong. I noticed something drop on my nightwear and that was when I realised it was that time of the month. I went to the bathroom to clean myself up. Suddenly I started feeling cold, my body temperature became so high that I had to crawl under the duvet. Sebastian came in with a pad heater and brought me a pain relief to use. I took the drug and fell asleep, when I woke up my body temperature had gone down. I looked beside me and saw a sleeping Sebastian with a white towel in his hands, I tried taking it from his hand and he woke up. "Are you feeling better?" he asked and I nodded my head and told him I still had a slight pain in my stomach. He went to the kitchen to bring me watermelon and pasta to eat. I went to clean myself up and Sebastian asked us to go watch a movie. We watched this Korean series called "Squad Game" and we started playing the game. I remembered I wanted to discuss something with him. "Sebastian, there is something I have been wanting to tell you," I said. He faced me, urging me to continue. "I want to look for my parents or family," I said. "Do you remember anything about them?" he asked. I shook my head, but I had a feeling I had a clue that could lead to the answers I was looking for. "What clue is that?" he asked. I raised my hand and showed him the mark on my body. "Why do you think this would lead to them?" he inquired. I explained that I had seen somewhere that marks can be specific to certain families. "Alright, I'll look into it and let you know if I find something," he said. He studied the mark carefully so he could remember what it looked like; it was in the shape of a crescent moon with a flower in the middle. I silently prayed he would find a clue; I just wanted to know which family I belonged to. It was getting late, so we both went to bed. Lately, sleeping on Sebastian's chest had been helping me sleep peacefully. I woke up feeling much better; the pain was gone and I felt refreshed. I decided to make breakfast for Sebastian, so I fried some eggs and bread and made hot chocolate tea. He took his breakfast and went to the office. I took a bath and put on a simple sunflower gown and white sandals. I then went to the daycare to help out and play with the kids. When I arrived, I saw the kids watching cartoons and the old lady was cleaning. "I always see her working," I thought to myself. As soon as she noticed me, she came over. "Hello, Luna, do you need anything?" she asked. I told her she didn't have to call me Luna and that I was there to help her and play with the kids. I noticed some of the kids I had seen last time were no longer there. "I see some of the kids are not here today," I said. "Yes, ma'am, they got adopted," she replied. She went on to explain that the Alpha had made law when he became Alpha, saying it would be a good idea to help those who couldn't give birth. I wasn't sure if this law had been in place before, but I liked the idea; kids deserved to grow up in a loving home. I helped her with the cleaning and washing of the kids' clothes before joining them to play. I read a book to them and played with Legos. I shared the chocolates I had bought for them and then left. I decided to go for a run; it had been a while since I had let Snow out and she had been wanting to come out. I went to the woods and shifted. Snow ran at a fast pace for almost 15 minutes before stopping to drink from the lake. I let her stay in her form for a while before shifting back to my human form and heading home. Just as I shifted, I saw a brown and white wolf staring at me, shocked to see me. "Shoot, someone has seen me shift," I thought to myself. I knew there was no point running since the person had seen my face. The question was, "Who could this wolf be?" I asked myself
