Sebastian's POV.
Yesterday night was absolutely incredible. I looked at my partner, who was still peacefully sleeping, and thanked the Moon Goddess for bringing us together. After 6 years of waiting, it was all worth it.
I knew she would be a bit sore when she woke up, so I decided to make her breakfast and bring it to the room.
I made some toast with chocolate spread and a cup of hot coffee.
When I returned to the room, she was finally awake. "Good morning, princess," I said with a smile. "Good morning, dear," she replied.
She was about to get up, but the pain held her back and her cheeks turned red, probably thinking of what caused it.
I went to the bathroom and prepared a hot bath for her and carried her to the bathroom.
When she was done, she was feeling a bit better. I saw her limping as she entered the room and I couldn't help but laugh.
She threw a pillow at me in an attempt to make me stop, but I kept laughing. I made her sit on the bed and served her breakfast.
After she was done eating, we made a second round before I left for my office.
Now that we had completed the mate bond, I could feel her emotions and hear her thoughts, which was amazing.
I was in my office when Noah came in, and he had a knowing look on his face. "Finally, you have completed the bond," he said.
Noah has been my best friend since we were young and we share a lot of things.
He is still waiting for his mate, but he believes she is out there somewhere. "I can see you are happy, mate," he said. "I'm happy for you too."
"Alpha, the main reason I came here is to talk about tightening the border of the pack," he said.
He always switches to professional mode whenever he wants to talk about issues related to the pack or something serious.
"Alright, let's do that," I replied. I told him to increase security and train strong werewolves to stay at the border.
After we were done discussing the border issues, he asked me what I would do about the issues with the elders. "I'm just going to let them be," I said.
"But if they try to do anything funny or disrespect Violet, then they will see the other side of me."
"I don't know why they want you to mate with Evelyn by force if not that they have something else to benefit from it," Noah said.
I'm giving them respect because of my dad, otherwise, I wouldn't have brought Violet to the meeting for such ridicule.
After discussing it for a while, Noah decided to depart. As he was leaving, he turned back and said "Nice mark you have there" and then he left.
I chuckled and thought of my mate and I chose to mind-link her. "Hey sweetheart, what are you up to?" I asked.
"Hi darling, I am just lying in bed," she answered. "Okay, don't push yourself to do anything and take care.
I love you and I will be home soon," I said to her.
Initially, there was silence and then I realized I had said "I love you" for the first time today.
But I had been in love with her since I first saw her. "I love you too," she replied and I ended the link.
I was going through the documents piled up on my desk, this paperwork is what I detest the most about being an Alpha.
I saw a letter from the elderly woman in charge of the daycare saying that someone wanted to adopt a child.
I remembered when I made this rule of adoption when I became an Alpha but people thought it would not make sense.
But since I have made that rule, there are always people coming to thank me for giving them a child.
Because I know some couples cannot have children on their own and they would love to have kids. And since that day I have never regretted making that decision.
I replied to the message and granted permission.
I remembered that I wanted to discuss something with my mum so I hurried with the paperwork and left for their house.
As I arrived home, I was welcomed by the aroma of my mum's cooking and that gave me a clue that she was in the kitchen.
"Hey mum, hey dad" I shouted as I entered.
I drop my Alpha mode anytime I come home, this is the only place that makes me feel so free.
I saw my dad sitting in the living room with his glasses on and watching television.
As I entered the living room I greeted my dad "Hey Dad, what are you watching?" I asked. "Son, just watching this documentary," he responded.
I saw my mum in the kitchen just like I expected and went over to meet her. "Mum, I came to discuss something with you," I said.
"My dear, what is it about?" she replied. "It is nothing serious, I just need your help," I told her.
"Alright then let me finish what I am doing then we can talk," she said and asked me to go and join my dad.
"Hello love," I replied. I had intended to be home earlier, but I had to discuss something with Mum, so I would be home soon.
"Alright dear, hurry home, I miss you," she said.
"I miss you too, and I apologize for the delay," I said and then ended the mind link.
Once Mum had finished cooking, I went to her and we sat at the dining table.
"Mum, I need your help to train Violet for the role of Luna. Will you help me?" I asked.
"Of course, my dear. When do we start?" she replied.
I told her I would discuss it with Violet and let her know.
When I was done talking to my mum, I left. She was begging me to stay and eat, but I couldn't.
When I got home, I didn't see anyone in the living room, so I headed to our room.
My mate was there, and she was in tears. Her eyes were red and puffy.
I rushed to her side and asked her what was wrong, but she didn't say anything.
"What could be wrong?" I thought to myself.
