Chapter 8: fighting

1173 Words
Blake POV: I wake up the next morning and get out of bed. I take a shower and get dressed. I’m not really in the mood to go to school. I don’t really see the point in it either as my father will only pull me out to go visit the neighbouring packs to find my mate. I walk to the gym as I had decided to spend my day there. I walk in and greet Collen, the manager.  “Hey Collen.” “Hey Alpha, what are you doing here?” “Ditching school and hopefully my family too.” “They on you about your mate again?” “You know it.” “Well since you’re here you mind helping out? Lucas isn’t coming in today and we are short staffed.” “No problem Collen.” “Thank you. Can you please go and get me some stuff from the store room?” “of course. What do you need?” “Boxing gloves.” I walk to the store room to get the gloves, but this place is such a mess I don’t see how you can find anything in here. I look around and in boxes when Collen comes up behind me. “Alpha, there’s a girl here that would like to do some fighting but since Lucas isn’t here I said I’d call you.” “Okay, Collen who is it?” I ask as I make my way out of the storage room. As I walk over to the door the sent hits me again and I know exactly who the girl is. Why did it have to be her? I ask myself as I walk over to her. “Hello, Blake can we get started?” She asks her voice is so soft and sweet. “Yes.” I say as we get into the ring. I know this is going to be a good match since I feel the anger radiating off her in waves. “Why are you so upset?” I ask, which I probably shouldn’t have done. “None of your business can we just train?” She says. I nod as we start training after an hour of fighting and training I can tell she feels better. We take a break and I walk to the water fountain to get a drink of water. She gets out of the ring and sits down near too drink water. “Thank you that was a really good session.” She says as she walks over to me. “I’m glad you enjoyed it, you’re a good fighter.” I say as I throw my paper cup away. “Thank you.” She says. She’s so beautiful and her sent is stronger now. It’s almost overwhelming. “Wanna go again?” she asks as she walks back to the ring. “Yes” I say as I follow my prefect mate. Lola POV: Blake comes walking out of the store room. He’s really hot, but I shouldn’t be drooling over him, all guys are the same they treat you like a princess at first and later once they have your trust they spit you out like you’re garbage. I won’t be caught in that trap again especially with a pretty boy like that. He walks over to me. “Hello Blake you ready to get started?” I ask him. “Yes.” He says as we get into the ring. “Why are you so upset?” he asks. “None of your business.” I say in a harsh tone. I don’t need to explain my mood to anyone especially a guy like him. We start training and it’s going really well, I can feel the ager leaving my body and I can feel myself getting calmer. We take a break I get out of the ring and sit down to drink some water. “Thank you that was a really good session.” I say as I walk over to Blake. He’s a really good fighter. “I’m glad you enjoyed it, you’re a really good fighter.” He says as he throws his paper cup away. “Thank you.” I say as I walk back towards the ring. “Wanna go again?” I ask him hoping he says yes. “Yes.” I nearly jump for joy. I enjoy training with Blake. We walk to the ring and continue our training. Everything I throw at him he blocks, how can he be this good? I wonder to myself. After the session I’m exhausted but I don’t feel angry anymore. I can’t believe I can’t seem to get one hit in. I thought I was doing good but if I look at my skills now it’s like I don’t know what I’m doing. “I can’t get one hit in. Why is that?” I ask him curious to hear what he has to say for himself. “I’m just that good, but you’re skills are impressive.” He says as he walks to the edge of the ring. He’s so arrogant. “If I could only get one hit in you wouldn’t be so arrogant. I’d love to put you in you’re place.” I say. “I’d love to see you try.” He says with aa smug grin on his face. ‘ill give you one opportunity to get a hit in.” He says. “You’ll give me the opportunity?”    I say with anger in my voice. I walk towards him and knee him in the stomach. I hear a loud pop and a shock of pain runs through my leg as I fall to the ground. I curled up into a ball holding my knee. Blake bent down putting his hand on my back. “Are you okay? Are you hurt?” he asks. I look at him through half teary eyes. “no I’m okay.” I say ass I sit up. “You sure?” He asks extending his hand to help me up. “Yes.” I say I take his hand. I feel sparks erupt when our hands touch. He helps me to my feet, I try to stand on my leg when the pain increases ten fold and I fell down again. Blake caught me and put my arm around his neck and his other arm he used to pick me up. he carried me to his car and put me in the passenger seat. “Where are you taking me?” I asked as he sat me down. “To the doctor to check your leg.” He said as he closed the door and walked around the car to the divers side. He got in the car and started the car. “I’m really fine I don’t need to see a doctor.” I said as he started driving away from the gym. “I’m fine.” I said in a stern voice. He pulled the car over, got out and slammed the door closed. He walked over to my side and opened the door. “Get out.” He said. “Get out and stand up.” He said in a stern voice. “I can’t.” I whispered, looking down. “What did you say? I couldn’t hear you.” He said lifting my head so that I’m looking into his eyes. “I can’t get up.” I said. “That’s right, so we’re going to see the doctor.” He said and I nodded in agreement. He got back in the car and we drove for a while in complete silence.
