Drew grimaced as she was shook. She swatted her hands about to try to stop whoever was doing it. She sat up straight suddenly when someone grabbed hold of her wrist. She stared up at a large hulk of a werewolf, staring down at her. She looked over and noticed she had nearly hit Kaloni. And then her face turned red. “We’re home!” Kaloni said cheerfully. She bounced up and motioned for the bulky man to let go of Drew. “She’s going to be the queen, Xavier, show her a bit of respect.” She winked before Xavier picked up Drew’s duffle bag and clambered off the jet.  Drew just sat there, a smidge gobsmacked before she finally pushed herself up from her seat. She picked up her violin case and moved after Kaloni. When she stepped out of the jet, she inhaled sharply; her brown eyes taking in the beautiful scene in front of her. She shifted from one foot to the other before climbing down the steps. Australia was as beautiful as people made it out to be. The beautiful temperate tropical weather and landscape was absolutely breathtaking. She walked behind Kaloni quietly towards a waiting car. She got in, only after Kaloni was seated and hugged her violin case to her torso. She stared out the window, and an uncomfortable silence filled the car, all the way until they got to the palace. And man, was it a palace. The place was huge, bigger than any pack house she had ever seen, and at least four times the size of the white house. She fidgeted a bit and glanced at Kaloni, but the princess was off in her own little world, her eyes had a glazed expression to them - and she was sure Kaloni was mind linking with someone. The car came to a stop in front of a grand marble stairway that led up to the giant building that she couldn’t even call a palace, really. She’d call it like… a f*****g city shoved into one building. Drew climbed out of the car after Kaloni, and looked up when she saw a burly man start to descend the stairs towards them. Her eyes widened while she took in his appearance. He was tall, incredibly so, though not unnaturally in human’s eyes. He had dirty blonde hair that was chopped short around the edges, but long up top. His skin was tanned from being in the Australian sun for all of his life, and Drew had to appreciate the biceps and muscles on him. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, but those muscles man, they just shined right through all of that. He had to be in about his late forties, early fifties. So certainly not the prince. He also had a strong resemblance to Kaloni, and it dawned on her who it was. “Daddy!” Kaloni ran over and embraced the man tightly. Drew gulped. King Rian Sonnen. She slipped out of the car and felt a little odd. She glanced up at the king, who was now looking at her with an intense analyzing gaze. She gulped before stepping forward.  She held her hand out to him. “Hello sir, I’m Drew Thorn.” She sort of muttered it out, incredibly shy at that. Her cheeks were burning red. The king inspected her hand a moment before stepping forward. He ignored her hand and pulled her into a tight embrace. “Ah, yes. My dear Drew.” He beamed as he stepped back. He had a heavy Australian accent, that was honestly amazing. “I cannot wait until you are part of this family. I have learned that you are by far, much better than your cousin.” He cheered, singing Drew’s praises. Drew raised a brow. “Uh, don’t know who you heard that from, but it’s not really… how I was treated in my pack.” She muttered, hugging her violin tighter to her chest. King Rian’s eyes flashed a very dark blue color, terrifyingly so. And Drew realized he’d heard her. “Yes dear, I know. They… sold you to me.” He cleared his throat. “But I am grateful. Noah needs someone like you, strong, resilient, just like him.” He nodded, giving a warm smile. “And I bought you because I want you to have a better life, a far better life.” He touched her chin, then clapped his hands and turned. “Come, let’s show you to your fiance!”
