Drew shifted in her seat, glancing out the window, despite the darkness creeping in, she could see the beach clearly. Her eyes trained on a wolf, over all he was white, with gray striped along his back from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. The gray feathered beautifully into the white, like the perfect hombre. She could feel the power coming off him from all the way up in her room on the third floor. She inhaled sharply and knew the wolf was, in fact, Noah. She pushed herself out of her hanging chair cocoon. She moved over and opened the large glass doors to the balcony. She stepped out and stared down at him. The wolf was pacing on the white sandy beach, he seemed to be having a conflict of some sort. Drew let out a soft sigh - it seemed to catch his attention, because his silvery-blue eyes were trained on her now. He had stopped pacing. Drew’s heart started to pick up a beat as she heard Roxie suddenly emerge. Mate. Let me out. Please let me out. Please, Drew. She felt her brown eyes flickering, the color shifting to an unnatural emerald color, that no eye should ever be. Drew closed her eyes and let herself begin to shift - the pain was bearable, she’d shifted enough times that it didn’t affect her anymore. Her form shifted from human to that of a sleek wolf, with deep rich brown fur, accents of bronze and golden splotches here and there, her coat was brindle, which was a tad odd for a wolf. But Drew just shrugged that off after the first time she shifted.  She jumped from the balcony down to the sand, standing before the much larger alpha wolf. She c****d her head to the side; those unnatural emerald eyes focused on her mate’s silver eyes. She quietly stalked forward. Drew receded into the back of her mind, letting Roxie have free reign. Roxie took another step, the alpha was tense but didn’t move. She came up under him and immediately pushed her muzzle into the thick fur of his neck, nuzzling him. She let out what could only be described as a sort of… purr of appreciation. Touching him made her feel complete - and then it happened. She heard him. You are so beautiful, my mate. Roxie lifted her head and looked up into his eyes. She leaned forward and brushed her muzzle against his neck again. And you are handsome, my fate. The large alpha wolf let out a small growl of appreciation. He pressed his forehead to Roxie’s and hummed. My name is Hunter. I am Roxie. The two wolves ended up spending the majority of the night curled up in the sand just snuggling into each other, just touching each other. It was all that mattered to them. ----- Drew stirred the next morning, she rubbed her forehead, realizing she was back in her human form, she looked around and noticed she was laying naked in the sand of the beach, with a very naked Noah next to her. His arms wrapped firmly around her, holding her close. Her body tensed, suddenly aware that their naked forms were pressed together, and Noah had an early morning ‘issue’. She let out a soft breath before pushing Noah away. Drew sat up and looked around, her face flushed. She just prayed no one had seen them. She went to stand when Noah’s hand came out and grasped her wrist gently. The sparks that flew through her body suddenly caught her off guard. Drew fell back down to the sand, landing on top of Noah. She gasped softly as their bodies pressed together, fireworks exploded all through her and she felt a wave of heat and need slam into her. “Drew -” Noah whispered her name, his eyes focused on her face before he leaned up and claimed her lips. Noah’s hands moved up to grasp Drew’s cheeks as the kiss deepened, and to his delight, she was reciprocating. Their position shifted some, as Noah had flipped them so Drew was beneath him. Their mouths molded together, their tongues fought each other and the growls they were both eliciting was their struggle for dominance. And god, Noah felt like he could drown in the moment, in his need for her and his love for her. A loud throat clearing is the only thing that stopped the moment. Noah cussed softly as he lifted his head, his eyes landed on his Beta, who had the most amused look on his face. Walker was a tall man, with semi-shaggy, short brown hair. His eyebrows were thick, but not in a displeasing way. He had light blue eyes and thick scruff on his jawline. Walker was Noah’s most trusted friend, having been there with him since the very beginning. The two had grown up together, much like brothers. Walker was also Kaloni’s mate. Noh wouldn’t trust anyone else with his baby sister’s heart. Noah grunted and stood up, unashamed of his bare body. He took the bag from Walker and opened it, starting to pull out his clothes, he put on everything except the shirt. He glanced at Drew, who was blushing. He handed her the panties and bra that were in the bag, she quickly put them on. Rather than give her the shirt inside meant for her, he held out his shirt to her. She took it and pulled it on before she put on the shorts that Noah also handed her. Noah smiled slightly, looking her over. She looked perfect in his shirt. f**k. She was perfect in general. Walker cleared his throat again. Noah’s eyes snapped to him. He felt slightly annoyed but relaxed. “Yes?” He asked in a short tempered tone.  “Miss Drew’s family has arrived.” He said in an even tone, though his eyes seemed to convey something to Noah. Fuck. Noah couldn’t help the realization dawn on him. “And father didn’t turn them away?” Noah asked through gritted teeth. Walker solemnly shook his head. He stared into Noah’s eyes. Because he wants to know what they want. Why they’ve done what they’ve done. Why they would sell one of their own. Why they tried to trick you. Walker had spoken to Noah through the link, so that Drew couldn’t hear. He was sure she would be angry if she knew that they suspected her pack and family of malintent. Drew sighed. “I suppose I should go see them.” She looked reluctant, to say the least. Noah watched her for a moment, then he reached out and caressed her cheek. “Not without me.” He mumbled. Drew withdrew from his touch though. She shook her head. “I would rather you not.” She let the coldness envelope her heart and hide any emotions she had been feeling towards Noah. She shut down, the walls shot up and she was secure in her own little world once more. She couldn’t be vulnerable. Refused to be. “Gentlemen.” She muttered, bowing deeply to the two before she started to walk away. It was Walker who spoke up, catching her off guard. “I saw your wolf last night.” Walked turned his head to Noah, staring him in the eye. “And I’m sure you recognize what that was.” He then turned and walked back towards the large palace. Drew had stopped moving. She closed her eyes and inhaled sharply. Noah didn’t move. He remained in his spot, watching Drew carefully. “Most assume the wolf of legend would be silver, like the moon.” His eyes shifted slightly. “Most would assume that she would be larger than an alpha, larger than even royalty. A gift from the goddess herself.” He paused, “But you,” He had closed the gap between them, his arms slid around her waist and he pulled her back flush to his chest and rested his face against the crook of her neck. “You are golden, bronze, warm colors that allude to the sun.” He whispered. “A wolf that is loyal to the sun and not the moon.” He slid his hands slowly up her sides. “My hybrid love, my hybrid bride…” He whispered softly.
