I push as hard as I can and feel the pressure subside. I hear the cries of my beautiful baby boy and fall back in the bed sighing.

Since the base joined Sanctana we have retaken most of the city. Although we burned it down we are rebuilding I have rerouted the power grids and our power should last 20 plus years. More survivors have joined us from across the country. Chase Isabel Wade and I are all running the place. We have started making supply runs to towns around Haluna. We run into small camps of survivors most join us in Sanctana Canni's are still out there but they stay clear of the city. I guess blowing up over 100,000 of them made them stir clear of us.
Leah had our nephew James Rylan Jones 3 months ago, her and her new boyfriend live in the cabin behind the house. Sophie is 5 now and is an amazing big sister to Abi and Straten. Our lives are moving along great and I am so happy to have my family. Kyle and Dylan got married last month and are expecting another baby. Nate and Wade have adopted a child we picked up from a run. Isabel and her daughter have a new man in their lives that Isabel has been seeing for 5 months now. Danny and Maggie are also expecting a child soon. My uncle Midas heads the northern supply runs and is dating one of the nurses at the hospital.
New world new life and I wouldn't want it any other way, the researchers have been studying the Canni's and we might have a cure for all of this. So they are testing it today, Maybe the world will be better if we take care of the Canni's that are left.
