He got out the car, but I was too surprised to move. I didn't come here in ages - last time I did I was seven. That was ten years ago.
I don't exactly know why I stopped coming here, but I do know that I'm pretty surprised to see nothing changed; a decade passed and it's still the same, small grassy hill surrounded by oak trees.
It's weird to call it a park, but that's exactly what it is.
I started walking with him.
"Since the situation between us is changing, I decided to bring us to a place that will never change to us." Luke stated.
I couldn't help but smile.
He was ahead if me which meant he had to look behind him to see if I was still walking with him.
"You're not usually this quiet. Are you alright?" He asked me, turning around completely, turning his attention to me.
"Yep. I'm just... speechless." I informed him.
He grinned at me before taking my hand and running up the hill. I could barley catch up with his Usain-Bolt-compared-to-me running, but I managed OK.
Eventually, we got to the top of the hill, when he sat down and gestured for me to sit down next to him.
We both looked into the view of the small park - I know, super cliché - and I decided to lean on my elbows. I kept thinking of how lucky I am to have Lucas Parker by my side.
He looked at me, and since his gaze was burning the side of my head, I looked over to him, too.
"I love you, Lee." He whispered to me, before leaning in.
"I love you too, Luke." I whispered back, closing the distance between us as my lips met his.

"Mom! Your daughter's presence is now around!" I decided to call out when I got home.
Instead of seeing my mom, I saw my dad instead.
"Your mom is out. She took Sam and Caleb to the movies." My dad informed me.
I nodded.
"Well, in that case, I'll be upstairs in my room, meditating. Have fun watching football, dad!" I called out and ran towards the stairs.
Once I got into my room, I slumped down on my bed.
Today was awesome. My first official date with Luke has been nothing but awesome.
To make my day even better, Caleb wasn't home at the moment.
He was never going to be popular at school. He's probably going to get picked on by the time he's in senior year.
What?
I'm just stating facts.
My phone beeped - signalling I got a text message. I looked down and saw it was from Luke. A smile immediately crept up upon my face as I opened it and read it.
Ma crazy friend Lucas: Had fun today. Let's do it again sometime xx
I was going to reply something back, when I got another text from him.
Ma crazy friend Lucas: By the way, I'm hoping we can repeat that kiss one more time, ya know - for practice ;) xx
Me: okee, as long as you eat a tube of toothpaste XD xx
I switched my phone off after I pressed 'SEND' on the message I just types out and put it on the side of me. Now for some medit--
I got another buzz from my phone, signalling another message.
Ma crazy friend Lucas: Sure, anything for another kiss from you, Lee xx
I couldn't help but dance a happy dance.
Oh, all these years where I was scared about getting rejected, whereas he was feeling the same way.
Twelve years of friendship and twelve years of a crush, yet we only do something about it now.
Ma crazy friend Lucas: Oh, just so you know - I'm coming over tomorrow to see you xxx
Oh god I was about to die.
Is it possible to die from intense blushing?
I'm sure it is. If not, I'll be the first.
Someone's gotta be.

"Dad, I'm home!" I heard Caleb's voice say.
Oh great. The spawn of Satan is at my house once again.
"Come on, Sam!" I heard Caleb say.
Well, at least his friend is over, meaning he wouldn't bother me.
I don't exactly hate my brother, but if he was on fire and I had a bottle of water, I would water the nearest stinging nettles to me.
Why?
Because he is the spawn of Satan.
Or Satan reincarnated.
But, obviously since my life is cursed while I'm in my house, Caleb had to come into my room with Sam, his best friend.
Sam and Caleb knew each other ever since Caleb first started kindergarten. So, it's safe to say their quite close.
"That's my sister. She smells like poisonous mushrooms, so it's best to stay away from her." I heard Caleb tell Sam.
Oh, heck no.
"I heard that, Caleb! Get back here!"
And with that, Tom and Jerry 2.0 came to life.
