"Get up, Riley!" I heard a voice say.
I recognized it after trying to sleep and analyse it - which let me tell you, wasn't easy.
But I knew who it was eventually - Caleb.
"Why?" I groaned while hitting my face onto the pillow.
Now that the pillow blocked all the sunlight from coming in and possibly ruining my sight, I felt better.
But then I remembered something - Luke was here.
Or was it a dream?
I jumped out of bed, sprinting past Caleb's confused expression, down the hall. I ran so fast down the stairs, I would've fell if it wasn't for the fact I held onto the stair rail.
I dashed into the living room to see Luke still sleeping. I smiled. He was staying here until Saturday.
My smile, however, dropped when I realized I had to cut my sleep short tomorrow to attend the wedding.
Ugh.
But all I had to do to get the smile back in my face was look at Luke. Kidding. I'm not creepy.
I heard his alarm go off. My eyes widened as I dashed out of the room. I waited a few seconds before coming in again, pretending to be tired by yawning and rubbing my eyes.
"Morning. I totally just woke up." I told him.
I hated lying to him, but I had to save my dignity.
"Morning." He replied.
He may have given me a one word greeting, but Luke was quite grumpy when he gets waken up by a loud noise. I still remember the movie night incident.
That was hilarious.
"So, are you excited to go to the wedding tomorrow?" I asked him.
He sat up from the couch, nodding.
"Thanks for letting me stay with you. If my mom comes here, asking for me, I fled your house to the store, OK?" Luke said.
I scrunched my eyebrows together, while he gave me a puppy dog look. It was more like a droopy squirrel, but that was OK.
"Sure."

"No! I shall not!" I sighed.
Anna liked being a hyperbolic human. I don't even get it - she has an amazing talent.
What happened, was this:
Anna and I were walking in the halls - since we had nothing better to do, especially since Oli wasn't in to kiss Anna's face off. I walked passed a purple poster. It was a notice for a school play - Romeo & Juliet.
So cliché, I know.
But I wasn't the one who organized the play.
Anyway, I told Anna about it and suggested that she auditioned for a part.
Bringing us to the current situation.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because. I suck at theatre, you know that."
I started laughing. I may be incredibly skilled and talented--
*cough cough
--but unfortunately, theatre seemed to have touched a bad nerve, since I'm awful at acting.
Well, in front of an audience anyway.
"Your amazing at theatre, Tianna!" I exclaimed.
Her face went into a weird expression as I said her full name. I only do that - say people's full name - when I'm serious, or want to sound intimidating.
"Fine. Only if I get the part, you come and see the play." Anna told me.
"You got yourself a deal."

"Now, if you divide seven-hundred and eleven by nine, what is your result?" Mr Samuels asked the class.
I was in math class, by myself, because Luke was in the principles office for pulling off a crazy prank on someone - I still don't know what, only he might get suspended for it.
"Seventy-nine!" A student called out.
"Correct. Now that we know this, we know how many cylinders would fit in this circle..."
Yep, we were still doing the best topic ever - cylinders.
Note the sarcasm.
I was in the middle of doodling on some random piece of paper I found on the desk, when Luke came in. He sat down next to me and smiled.
"So, what did I miss?" He whispered I'm my ear.
I dug my nails into my thigh to prevent myself from shivering, because of the closeness of Luke.
"Oh, you know. Really relevant things we don't really need to know in the real world." I informed him.
He silently laughed before shaking his head and took out his textbook, laying it flat on his side of the table.
"Glad to see you finally joined us, Mr Parker." Mr Samuels spoke as he turned around to study the class, noticing Luke was there.
"Hi, Lucas." Isabella purred from the front.
Wait, Isabella? Since when was Isabella in my class?
Great. Now I have Satan's daughter in my class.
But, Luke ignored Isabella - he was too focused on me.
Ha, Isabella!
"So, did you see your cousin or aunt yet?" I asked Luke, deciding to bring the topic.
He looked at me, his green eyes focusing on me. If I was a cartoon, I would be one of those with sweat gushing down from my forehead - that's how nervous I was.
"Are you kidding? No thanks." He said.
I looked away to giggle. He exaggerated so much with his family.
"So, where were you?" I asked, even though I had suspicions.
He took a deep breath, looking down at his textbook.
"Mr Tefor." He mumbled.
Ah, I knew it. Principals office.
Riley: 1. Lucas: 0.

The day passed really quickly. Which meant Friday came by really quickly.
I woke up to my alarm, groaning as I turned it off. I got out of bed, surprised I actually got out and started heading towards my door. When I opened it, I saw a figure, and I did the only logical thing that came to mind; I screamed.
But then, I realized it was Luke. Complete waste of my vocals.
No, it's Luke.
Can't argue with that, inner voice. Can't argue with that.
"Wedding day." I said.
Luke nodded.
"Well, I'm going to get my breakfast. You can start getting ready for the wedding as well." I told him.
He nodded. I walked downstairs to eat my breakfast - which was four triangular pieces of toast - and then went back upstairs for the aesthetics.
I finished getting ready, looking at myself in my mirror when I saw something glistening in the corner of my eye - the silver box with the blue bow.
I went to the cupboard and took the box, opening it. I took out the bow and put it at the side of my head, since it was down and straightened.
Now that my blue complexion had been completed, I headed downstairs.
I received the attention of everyone.
I noticed Luke, however. He had a black tux on, with a loose blue tie - the same colour blue that matched my dress.
Oh my god...
Well, he is my best friend. It's only suited if we matched like those type best friends that wear a combined costume - usually a ghost - on Halloween.
Luke's hair was slicked back - which was a rare occurrence.
To say he looked like a god, would be an understatement.
My mom snapped me out of my trance, by informing us its time to leave for the church.
I can already tell this wedding is going to have a big change in people's lives - not only for Andrea and Matt, but others as well.
