The Forgotten Mansion

At the beginning of the creation of vampires, there was a beautifully tragic love story. There were two gods (well technically one god and one goddess), who fell in love upon the first sight of each other. But they couldn’t be together so, they had to love each other from afar. Auriol is the Sun God, and he fell in love with Venia, the Moon Goddess. And she fell in love with him, or so they thought. Even though they have never spoke, they were able to watch each other during each time of the day. Venia got to watch Auriol during the night when he would be on the Earth, interacting with mortals as if they were his equal. Auriol got to watch Venia during the day while she rested and interacted with mortals in the same fashion that he did. One day, the Goddess of love and marriage, Hera, decided to give Auriol and Venia a chance to meet, face to face. This is how that interaction went. “Auriol. My name is Hera and I am the Goddess of love and marriage. I have been watching you and Venia for the last five years. Mainly because I had to make sure that neither one of you would lose interest in the other. How would you like to finally meet her, face to face?” Hera asked as she appeared in his home on the Sun. “Oh my, wow. Hello Hera, mother of Gods, Goddess of love and marriage. Yes, I would like very much to meet Venia, if it were possible. As I'm sure you know, I cannot leave my shift unattended.” Auriol told Hera. “Well, then I have some great news for you. I am going to arrange a day for you and Venia to meet, tomorrow. All that’s left to do is, ask your brother to take over your shift for tomorrow.” Hera said. “Oh well, then that will never happen. I haven’t been able to speak to my brother since we had to take over Sun duty from our parents. He lives on the other side of the Sun.” Auriol said sadly. “That’s my next surprise. You see, I have already asked your brother and...” Hera said as she moves away from the view of the front door of Auriol’s house. “And he said ‘yes’ with one condition. He can wish his big brother good lucky in person.” Auriol’s brother said as he walked into the room with Hera and Auriol. Smiling Auriol hugged his little brother, Orian. “Orian!! Brother it’s so good to see you. Thank you for this I will repay you.” Auriol said to his brother. “Of course, I would help you get your happiness. And I may just hold you to that repayment.” Orian said laughing. After that Hear told the two brothers to hang out for a few, while she heads to talk to Venia, the Moon Goddess. “Venia, Goddess of the Moon and stars. I know we have never met before but I have no doubt that you know who I am. My name is Hera and I am the Goddess of love and marriage. I have come here to speak with you today because I have been watching you and the God of the Sun, Auriol, watch each other for five years now. And I would like to know, if you would like to meet him, face to face?” Hera asked Venia as she appeared in her house on the Moon. “Oh, wow. Yes, I know who you are. Oh, my geez, Hera is in my house! Uhm, sorry. I... yes, I... I would love to finally meet Auriol. That would be amazing.” Venia said excitedly. “Great, let's get someone to cover your shift for tomorrow. And everything will be perfect.” Hera said. “Wait, I know just who to ask. My sister, Nikaia. I took over her shift about 10 years ago so she could get married and have a honeymoon.” Venia said, getting even more excited. “Perfect idea! It's a great thing I already asked her then and she said that she can be here tomorrow to take over your shift. Now for my next job. Settng up the most prefect date.” Hera says then vanishes. After speaking with Auriol, Hera starts setting up a date for Venia and Auriol. Everything goes smoothly and Venia and Auriol begin seeing each other regularly. After a few months of seeing each other, Venia feels a pull that leads her to a human, in which she instantly falls in love with and knows that he is her mate, destined for her by the previous Moon Goddess, Gia. So, Venia began watching this human to learn about him and see why Gia would give her a human for a mate. After some time of learning the humans’ schedule Venia left her post on the moon for her sister and went to see her mate and see if there would be the instant connection she’d always heard about. It's just after 12:30 in the afternoonwhen Venia appeared in the village square, out of the way of prying eyes. Walking through the market square Venia bumps into the human, that is her mate. “Oh, I'm sorry. I'm such a goof. This is my time to the market here and I guess I got distracted by all the stalls.” Venia says. “No, it’s okay. It's actually my fault, I was pay too much attention to the desserts than my feet.” the human says. “Desserts are very distracting. My name is Venia.” Venia says holding her hand out to shake her mate's hand. “Hi, Venia. I'm Phillip.” Phillip says as he shakes Venia’s hand. Receiving the same jolt as when they bumped into each other, Phillip and Venia both gasped.
