Elliot walked Ruby back to her car, thankful he’d decided to stay at the hospital to be with Ruby. He should have asked if she was hungry. The cafeteria wouldn’t be serving any hot food at this time, but they could at least buy a fruit salad or something.
He’d ask her about that after she called Jessi’s brother. And then he’d try to figure out where she could sleep. If nothing else worked, he could give her his place and he could spend the night with Tiff.
