“I will be visiting LYCAN today with Jace. I finally have access to all the reports of the incidents.” There was a looming feeling of dread as I stared into her violet-tinged eyes. I couldn’t quite place this feeling of dread. Without warning, I pulled Izza into my arms.
“Y…you…r cru…shing me,” I laughed as she struggled to breathe. I released my grip just enough to give her some breathing space.
Every time I held her, I felt a sense of warmth blanketing me. Today, I felt a cold and dark shiver crawl through every crevice in my body.
