Third Person's POV
Everyone fell silent when Annika entered the dining area. She cast a cold glance around, occasionally flashing grins at her siblings—which only irritated them further—while the king merely looked at her with boredom. The queen, on the other hand, wore a wide smile and gestured for the girl to sit beside her, which Annika did without hesitation.
As they ate, not a single word was spoken. The only sound heard was Annika's spoon, busy scraping pork skin from her plate. Everyone looked at her in confusion, as if unsettled by her behavior. Annika never ate pork—not even its skin—so the sudden change in her taste was alarming.
"Anak, I thought you don't like pork meat?" the queen finally asked.
Annika stopped and looked at her mother in confusion. "I don't? Why's that?"
"Huh? Don't you remember piggy? Your pet? You hate eating pork since it makes you feel like you're eating your piggy?"
That was when she remembered. Right—Piggy. Annika's pet. But isn't that from the past/ Besides, Piggy's dead. Her siblings killed it. She wiped her lips with the back of her hand, making her siblings visibly grimace.
'Ew, so filthy. What the hell,' they thought.
"Well, it's tasteful and delicious. I can't resists its smell. I now decided to love meat, Mom. I want it tender, juicy and raw. Especially the flesh part..." she replied with a grin.
To the blind queen and king, her words and smile seemed normal. But to her siblings, it sent chills down their spines—especially her last words.
'What the hell was that?'
'D-did I just... shiver?'
'She can't scare me. Nah.'
"Okay, if you say so."
After dinner, their father made an announcement that caught everyone off guard.
"Annika, be prepared for tomorrow. You'll be entering the University with your siblings."
The five reacted violently in their own ways, while their mother looked worriedly at the king and then at Annika.
"Why so sudden? She just woke up from a coma," the queen protested anxiously.
The king looked at Annika and said, "She can manage. She's fine now, so she might as well be useful."
"B-but, my king, doesn't Annika hate that place? She can't stand bullying!" the queen insisted.
"Then when will she learn to stand up for herself? Even without powers, it doesn't change the fact that she's part of the royal family. The royalties want her to enter the University, and you know I can't refuse. Besides, there is a very reason why I decided to put her there. "
"B-but Dad, she isn't part of the royal council, so she can still re—"
"My decision is final. She's going with y—"
"But why? Why so sudden?! She's a shame to this fam—"
"DON'T QUESTION MY DECISION! NOW ALL OF YOU GO BACK TO YOUR ROOMS!" the king shouted angrily, silencing the siblings. The queen stepped back slightly in fear.
Annika, however, was enjoying it. A wide grin spread across her face as she watched her siblings' pained expressions.
The king is selfish. He only thinks about the kingdom and his wife—but when it comes to his children, he doesn't give a damn.
"Why are you grinning?" the king asked Annika with a frown. Instead of being scared or nervous, she only chuckled softly—a laugh filled with seriousness and sarcasm.
"Nothing, Dad. I'm just excited...
...Ahh, a life with my dearest siblings. I can't wait." She cast them a cold, mocking look. They glared back at her even harder.
'Damn it! What the hell is wrong with this girl?!' – Caleb
'Where's the Annika who cries whenever we fight?' – Josiah
'What's with that stupid grin?' – Dianne
'Pathetic... as always.' – Dionne

"Are you going to be okay, Annika?" Annika's mom asked for the nth time.
Annika chuckled softly at her mother's question before replying, "Of course, Mom... I'll be with my siblings, so there's no need to worry."
"But—"
"I'll be safe. Bye, Mom." Without another word, she left the room, leaving her mother behind—sad and confused.
Annabeth's POV
"Bye, Mom. Bye, Dad," my siblings said to the king and queen, kissing their hands one by one.
Gross. I'm not doing the same thing—over my dead body. When I was still Annabeth, I worshipped no one. I didn't even fear death. And now you want me to kiss the hands of people who mean nothing to me? Ha. Funny.
All of us siblings were outside the castle. Several vehicles of different colors were lined up—probably our service cars to the University.
It's strange. They all have powers, so why do they even need technology and machinery? They could just teleport. Idiots.
"Annika, anak, aren't you going to kiss our hands?" my queen mother asked, confused.
Of course not. What do I look like, an i***t?
"No," I replied with a smile.
Smiling hurts my jaw, but I forced myself to do it because I wanted to appear kind in front of Mommy. Ew. Me, kind? Psh. Without Annika's mom's sympathy, I won't have an ally when I return here. Still, it really hurts my jaw. That's why I can't wait to leave and cause chaos. I want to show them the ferocity of the Annika they once oppressed. BWAHAHAHA—ahem.
"No?! What do you mean—"
"No. From now on, I won't kiss your hands, Mother, Father. Instead—" I stepped closer and kissed both of them on the cheeks, shocking everyone.
"There. Goodbye, Mom. Dad," I said with a smile and walked away.
Mommy's smile widened, clearly happy with what I did. Daddy merely nodded and told us to leave. I gave my siblings one last mocking look before getting into the vehicle assigned to me.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" I burst out laughing the moment I got inside. The driver glanced at me in confusion, but I only said—
"What? Don't look at me like that. Drive!"
And then I kept laughing.
What the hell was that, Annabeth? Did you really kiss someone to show respect? HAHAHA, I must be losing it. That was just for the script, of course! I didn't really want to kiss them on the cheeks—I just wanted to piss off my siblings, which was very effective. Poor things. Begging for their parents' attention. Pathetic.
