Chapter Thirteen

Liz's POV
The drive today wasn't as long. It was only about four hours. I started to grow anxious. I don't know what it was but the anxiety just wouldn't go away. As we drove the trees grew tall. I smiled and than noticed wolves running around.
"Is that?-" Tony smiled and nodded.
"We don't have to hide here. We're free to shift whenever we want. This is our private property and when unwelcomed visitors come we know." I nodded.
"So no power hungry people here like back home? Like those people that took me?" I asked worried. He shook his head.
"No of course not. Here we have hundreds of men guarding my home." I nodded and kept looking at the scenery. I frowned as I looked at an old mansion. on the other side of the road. It was large and beautiful but no one inhabited it.
"That's where Matt's pack used to live. They left it behind. We took most of the land and decided to protect it. We sure needed it once we took in hundreds of families that were left without their alpha."
"Wait but if you said the land is protected how did the alpha die? How were they attacked?" Tony frowned and shrugged.
"We don't know. We got there too late. There was blood everywhere and no alpha in sight. But by the way they all smelled I could tell he was dead. They smelled like rouges. But ever since than, there hasn't been an attack." I nodded.
"That's so sad." I commented. We drove for thirty more minutes. Man their home was huge with so much space to run. If I thought that Tony's house was huge back at home. I was so wrong. His house here was like three hotels put together. But this one had a modern style to it. He parked in a garage that had different types of sport cars. I raised and eyebrow at him
"Do you guys really need this many cars" He chuckled and nodded.
"Oh yes we do." I giggled and looked at him.
" please button your shirt all the way up" I said looking at his hickeys. He refused to try and take them off. He chuckled and smirked.
"I don't care if they see" He said once again. I groaned.
"But I do. I don't want them to think that all I want you is for s*x" I said. He smirked and got closer to me.
"After these past two nights its starting to feel like maybe you do." He said chokingly. I felt myself blush. " I love you" He said. I looked up at him. He has never said that before, his eyes were full of love and emotion looking down on me. I smiled and put my arms around him.
"I love you too" I said. And it was the truth. He smiled and kissed me. Once our lips met I instantly felt those tingles but this time they were stronger. A small moan escaped my lips. Tony pulled away.
"Lets go. I'm eager for you to meet my pack." He said. I smiled and nodded. He smirked at me and buttoned his shirt all the way. I grinned.
Once inside Tony got tackled by many people. I smiled and looked around. Everything was grey and white with hints of color around the house. Everyone was excited to meet me as well. I can't lie I did feel a bit overwhelmed by all the attention but Tony never left my side.
"Hi darling. Oh you're so beautiful. You haven't changed one bit have you came to visit mommy and take me with you?" This older lady said. I smiled confused as to what she was saying.
"Hi I'm Liz" I said.
"No you're not. You're my daughter. Remember? We're going to get you ready for prom." I looked at Tony and Matt came hugging the lady.
" Hey grams why don't you go upstairs and take a nap? I think it's time for a nap. Want me to get your tea?" The lady nodded and walked away. " Sorry about that Liz, that's my nana she's not all there anymore. She sometimes thinks I'm my grandpa. Now she thinks that Kate is her best friend from high school." I smiled and shook my head.
"Its okay she looks sweet" I said.
"She is, she raised me when my parents died." I frowned. I didn't know Matt's parents died.
"I'm so sorry, that terrible." I said. He shook his head.
"It's okay I have family here, we all take care of each other." I smiled
"That's good, I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for my dad" He continued to talk for a while and Kate joined in. I noticed she had her mate mark. I raised my eyebrow and noticed Matt had his too. I pulled Kate aside
"Girl when did that happen?" I asked pointing at her mark. She blushed.
"I don't kiss and tell." I laughed
"Right says the girl that gave me vivid detail of things I didn't want to know about." I was teasing than she frowned.
"Wait you could see my mark?" She asked. I nodded looking at her like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Well yeah you guys aren't hiding it well." I said. She nodded and hid her emotions. I'd have to talk to her about it later. As Kate and I were talking I noticed some girls with too much makeup looking my way talking amongst themselves and laughing. I raised and eyebrow at them .
"Oh no, Liz ignore them." Kate whispered.
"Well it looks like they have a problem and I'd like to know what it is." I replied glaring at them.
"I can't believe that Tony brought a human , that's a low even for him. Who'd sleep with any girl back in the day." I frowned, Tony was a player? But how? He was sweet with me he never gave me any reason to think he was a cheater or a player.
"They're just jealous Liz, ignore them. The girl in my pack bullied my brother's mate when they found out it was the quiet girl that worked in the kitchen. " I shook my head and got distracted by someone calling my name.
"You must be Elizabeth." This handsome tall guy came towards me. I don't know what it was but he gave me a bad feeling. I don't know if it was my anxiety of seeing so many people or if I was just tired from driving.
"Uh yeah that's me" I said giving a friendly forced smile. Tony came by smiling at the guy talking to me.
"Tony I see you finally found your mate. She's beautiful. Human huh how do you feel about the whole werewolves thing? Scary right?" Tony chuckled and shook his head.
"Human but she took on two rogues." This seemed to bother him. He nodded and looked at me,
"Congrats, I'm glad you're safe. I'm Kevin." He said.
