Chapter Fifteen

Liz's POV

    "Daddy?" I yelled as my grandmother pulled me away from my dad. 

    "Lizzie lets go! They're getting close" Matt yelled. 

    "I'm not going anywhere without mom and dad." I said as I broke free and ran towards my dad. He couldn't hear me, he had ran outside to join the pack in the attack from the rouges. Edward had lead them here. He betrayed our pack. He was in love with my mom but he wasn't her mate. I ran outside looking for my mom and dad. I saw my dad bleeding, I screamed and cried.

    "Daddy!" I yelled 

    "Liz go back inside go with your grandmother!" He yelled as he took on two men at once. But they were no match for my dad. He was the best solider there was. Packs always asked for his help with training. He was ruthless. 

    "No daddy come with me" I begged than one of his men dragged me back inside.

    "Liz go to the secret passage. It'll all be over soon" As soon a he said that a rouge broke in through the window. I ran as fast as I could to the secret passage. A rouge made its way in and he tried getting to me. But I fought back. I wasn't able to shift yet since I had just turned fifteen but my father had started my training since I was little. The rouge managed to hurt me pretty badly until someone took him out. Tony stood behind his body as he dropped. I gasped.    

    "Tony what are you doing here? Are you crazy?! They'll kill you" I cried as I fell, he caught me before I hit the floor. He frowned with worry all over his face. 

    "You're hurt" He said. I was too weak to speak. He started crying." No no Liz look at me you can't die okay? We're going to be mates I know it in my heart. I love you don't leave me please" He cried out. I started to feel weaker by the second. I smiled up at him.

    " I love you too" I said weakly. He looked at me with tears in his eyes. 

    "I can save you, let me mark you. We'll be connected and you'll be able to heal fast. I know we haven't turned sixteen yet but I know you're my mate Liz I can feel it. I promise we wont have to hide our relationship anymore. Please let me mark and save you." He pleaded. I looked up at him and nodded.

    "Okay" I said, he shifted into his humanoid self, as that was all he was able to shift into and marked me. I felt myself start to heal than everything went dark.

Third Persons POV

    Daniel speeded to his pack house with Bryan and Sophia in the car. Ever since Tony called him to let him know what was going on, he knew it was best to tell Liz's dad. She was human and most likely wouldn't be able to survive an attack. Sophia called Daniel and they all took a privet yet home. Once they laded they rushed to the pack house. They all felt when the spell was lifted. Daniel slammed the breaks and looked back at his old best friend he had grown up with. All their eyes were full of tears. Bryan got out of the car.

    "I'm getting my daughter back" He said

    "I-I'll go too the girl must be so confused" Sophia said trying not to cry as she realized that her best friend was dead. Anastasia was dead. They were supposed to raise their children together and watch them fall in love. But she died as a human. Bryan without a second to wait shifted into his dark brown wolf. Even after three years he was fast, out of shape but he had his wolf back and he'd make sure to kill whoever casted the spell and whoever hurt his daughter. But he was sure it was Edward and his son Kevin. He tracked his daughters scent right away and ran in that direction, Sophia followed him shifting as well. When they got to the clearing they shifted back. They covered themselves with clothes hidden in parts of the forest.  

    "Mom" Sophia heard Tony, he was crying.

    "Sweetie oh, what happened?" She asked as she saw him full of blood. 

    "K-Kevin tried killing Liz but somehow we broke the spell and when she remembered she shifted. Matt started fighting with Kevin and some of our men came and killed Kevin. He's dead. But Liz she ran off into a cave and wont come out. Mom how could I forget her? My own mate how could I forget her?" He cried into his mothers arms. Bryan felt relief as to know his daughter was safe. As he turned to try and find her, he saw Matt, he broke down crying as he pulled him into a hug.

    "Son, Oh my god." He said hugging him tightly he pulled away to see his face and smiled. "You're so big and strong. You make me proud. I promised your parents I'd take care of you. I'm sorry I failed" He said to Matt. Matt shook his head and hugged him.

    "No I'm sorry I couldn't go with you guys. With my family. I missed you I always knew there was a big part of me missing. It was my dad and sister and my m-" Before he could say anything he started crying harder. Bryan swallowed hard and hugged him

    "Everything's going to be okay. Where's Liz? We have to check on her I can smell her blood." Bryan said.  As they made their way to the cave, Sophia and Bryan went in. Liz was still shifted and her wound was still bleeding.  Liz's wolf was bigger than usual. It was as big as an alpha's wolf would be like. Her eyes glowed purple. She was growling as they got closer. 

    "Liz baby it's okay, I'm here now everything's going to be okay." But that wasn't working she couldn't turn. He shifted into his wolf form again,

    He demanded into her brain using his alpha power to control her. She bowed her head and slowly shifted back into her human form. Liz cried out and hugged her dad not caring about her wound.

    "Mom's dead, she died. She shouldn't have died. Dad! She's dead because of the spell." She cried and screamed. Sophia put a blanket over her covering her naked body. Tony walked in as he got closer to Liz  screamed and cried. Nothing was able to calm her down. One of the pack members came and tranquilized her to put her to sleep. The wound was caused by a silver blade. It would heal but it'd take longer. The shock from the trauma was too much that she'd cry in her sleep. Tony held her all night to help calm her. The mate bond was there stronger than ever now that the spell was lifted. The witch came and apologized and explained how she never wanted to hurt them.

    Edward had taken her new born child and threatened to kill her if she didn't kill Liz's family, but she knew that she couldn't so she created the spell knowing Tony would find her and they'd defeat Edward and Kevin for good. She never thought that Anastasia would die. She was a strong one. Before she died she got her memories back telling her daughter to find her Mate.
