One- A peek into the future
"I don't understand. I thought you wanted to try and make this work" Ally said with a shaky tone, her ruby eyes staring up at her so-called mate and could already feel the tears that began to prick at her eyes. She could feel the bond that connected the two of them beginning to shatter while her pleading eyes kept locked onto his, not letting him look away from her.
It wasn't long before tears began to spill from her eyes and carelessly rolled down her pale cheeks. Her whole body trembled while trying to hold onto the bond she had with her mate. Ally begged him to stay with both of her pale hands gripping onto his shirt as tightly as she could in her frail state. Her forehead thudded against his chest after lowering her head onto him and couldn't help the small sob that escaped passed her lips.
Her mate let out a growl in response and took his large coarse hands, gripping onto her cheeks roughly to remove her head from his chest. "I don't care anymore. I don't want a bloodsucker like you as my mate." His cold emerald green eyes stared at her before he tossed her to the ground as if throwing away a piece of trash.
He looked down at her broken state and for a moment there was a solemnness in his green eyes, a hand reaching down to touch her soft white hair before he stopped and closed his eyes. Her mate let out a jagged breath, able to feel their bond breaking with every crude action he did and every horrible word he said. His hands clenched as he looked down at his supposedly precious mate on the hard ground, wanting nothing more than to wrap her up in his arms. But he couldn't, and he knew it. His wolf was howling at him angrily for treating their mate the way he has.
Ally let out a small grunt as her body hit the ground and immediately pushed herself up to she was at least sitting. "You looked me in the eye and said you loved me! What did I do WRONG!?" Her voice echoed through the empty room they were in as she screamed at him, heartbreak and anger in her voice. "Caius." She whispered out his name in one finale plea to him.
Another sob escaped her as she lifted her red eyes to meet his once more with a frown gracing her lips, looking for any sign of change in him. Ally knew it was hopeless though, she knew how stubborn Caius was once he had made up his mind. She only watched her mate as he silently turned away from her and walked out the door without even sparing her a glance. The only thing she did was curl up on the floor with her tears continuously rolling down her cheeks, her gaze locked on the door in hope that he would return to her and take this pain away.
