Chapter 242018—early October
The cleaning crew was expected to arrive around mid-morning to begin restoring the house to order after the tour, and Eric and Carlton were strolling around the grounds before breakfast. They found themselves in front of the little folly, and for some reason, decided to walk up to the second floor, where they were immediately assaulted by a wave of really cold air.
Eric said, “It’s colder than usual up here, isn’t it?” He grabbed Carlton and began to kiss him, but before he could really savor the kiss, they were thrown into the strongest episode they’d yet had anywhere on the property.
