Jack I was a bit caught off guard when Lola asked if we could go to her house on the way home and had to think on my feet. I was thankful to Jacob backing me up about it and hoped that she would drop the subject now, but I knew it was unlikely. I needed to speak to Drew as soon as we got home and see if his men had had the chance to tidy up Lola's house and get rid of any signs of what had happened. I could tell she wasn't happy, and I hoped that her mood wouldn't last long. I didn't like it when she was upset with me, but thankfully, by the time we reached home she seemed to have calmed down and took my hand when I offered it to her to help her out of the car.
