After resting for a while, they finally stood up and walked towards the forest until they reached a small city. Looking around the area, they notived men armed with high caliber guns scattered around. They nodded to each other confirming that those men are terrorists. "What should we do now, Commander?" Anna asked after she came out behind a thicket of bush. She changed in clothes similar to the terrorists that they snatched from one of the houses. "Just take a look and be alert," Sebastian answered while also fixing his new clothes. They slowly walked towards the city and pretended to be one of the terrorists. They observed and confirmed that the city was full of armed terrorists and some civilians that are helping them. "Can I hold your hand, Lieutenant?" Anna was startled at the sudden request of Sebastian. "Just don't break my bone." Anna joked but after glancing at the serious face of Sebastian, she let him hold her hands. She thought that he only wanted to hold her hands but she felt that Sebastian passed something in her hands. By the feel and structure of it, she instantly knew that it was a bomb. It was small but she knew that this bomb can cause destruction far more than an ordinary bomb. "Pretend that you are with them, just walk normally and go towards that wall. Put the bomb in there be sure that they will not notice you then walk away slowly as if you just passed by. I'll handle any distractions," the commander whispered. "Do you understand?" He asked in confirmation. Anna looked towards the wall, by the way of Sebastian's talking, she immediately deduced that, that is the headquarters of the enemy. The mission was still in progress. "How would I do that?" Anna once again asked to confirm the plan. "Just walk and be quick, don't let them notice you. You can do it, and I know you can, Lieutenant, this is the only plan. Kill the big fish and after that the smaller fries will follow," Sebastian smirked. They were talking about the leader of the terrorists that is undoubtedly inside that building. "Okay! Commander," Anna affirmed. She slowly walked towards the building. "Be careful, Lieutenant," she heard Sebastian whispered. Through jer peripheral view, she saw Sebastian slip away, no doubt to finish another mission. She walked leisurely towards where most of the terrorists are. She saw how theh turtore their prisoners who only wanted to be with their family. She saw how one of the enemy pointed a gun at the woman's head. She saw how the woman trembled and cried while holding her baby. "Pull the trigger!" One of the men shouted then he laughed like a maniac, he was clearly enjoying the show. Anna's anger rose up and her fists are already turning blue with the way she is tightly clenching them. She was having a hard time reigning in her anger at the inhumane display of the terrorists. With all the commotion, the baby in the woman's hand woke up ang cried. The woman franctically cooed to calm the baby. "You can kill me but please let my baby live," the woman cried. Anna covered her mouth to stop her sob at the fallen body of the mother who was shot in the head by the terrorist. They were heartless. They left the baby crying beside her dead mother while they watched. Anna ran towards the baby, she slowly lifted and carried the baby in her arms. Another scream filled the air, the wail was louder and mournful. It was a different kind of tears that came from different eyes. All they could do during that time was to cry because they were powerless to fight. Anna cradled the baby as she looked around. When she saw that there are no more terrorists in their area, she stood up and silently went to where Sebastian left a boat that they will use for escape after they finish their mission. She laid the baby inside a makeshift basket. The baby became quiet and fell asleep instantly after she gently rocked the basket due to exhaustion. After making sure that the baby was fine and no one followed her, Anna immediately returned to the city to resume the task Sebastian gave her. She walked towards the tall wall and made sure that there were no civilians within the vicinity. She let a sigh of relief when she saw that the prisoners earlier were not there. Anna attached the bomb in a conspicuous area on the wall to lessen the possibility of someone discovering it. She hoped that this will stop the terrorists from what they have been doing. She started to walk away from the wall to look for Commander Juan. She estimated that after thirty minutes the bomb will explode. Anna's eyes was caught by the new batch of prisoners that were once again at a gun point. Her restraint snapped and she took the hidden gun behind her and shot at the terrorists. 11 hours ago · Sent from Messenger Abyss Yohan Grae The commotion alerted the other terrorists and they began to move. Anna immediately run and hid to avoid the enemies. There were a number of terrorists after her. She can also hear that one of them was barking commands to the others. After running and all her escape routes are cut off, she had no choice but to surrender and besides she had a plan formed while she was evading the terrorists. "I'll surrender," she calmly said. She was dragged towards another building where she found out as there meeting area. Her gun and hidden knives was also confiscated. At the corner of her eyes, she saw Sebastian who was still in disguise as one of the enemy. "Bring that girl to the head and don't let her escape," the terrorist pushed her forward towards Sebastian. Sebastian grabbed Anna's wrist and nodded to the man who delivered their prisoner. The terrorist have no idea that Sebastian and Anna were together. "Yes, I will," he said. Anna smirked but she was ignored. She was impressed by Sebastian's act. He tightened his grip on Anna's arms causing her to wince to add a more convincing front to his character. "You really, don't know how to act, Anna." Sebastian was holding back his anger and she can clearly see it. "I have a better plan for these heartless terrorists. I'm gonna make their bones into ashes," she growled. She was becoming more impatient because she wanted to punish all the terrorists wjo were involved in killing the mother and other innocent people. What she saw had hurt her heart and added to the black view she had on the world. Seeing the mother die in the hands of the terrorists jist added to her growing anger. "You better keep that plan, on your head Lieutenant. Don't be so stubborn," Sebastian angrily whispered. "I will not, Commander Sebastian," she insisted. He took her to a stock room that was unused and harshly pushed her inside. "What are we doing here? You're supposed to bring me to the head, that way I can rip his head off," said Anna. She is itching to kill whoever was behind all the killings and tortures that the terrorists were doing. "Take off your clothes." She heard the commander ordered, ignoring all that she said. "Take off my, what? Do you really have the time to -" she was not able to continue what she was going to say because she was cut off by Sebastian's glare. "I said take off your clothes," he reiterated. "Change into these," he added as he threw clothes to Anna. Anna metally slapped herself, she thought that Sebastian want her to take off her clothes and well be naked. But it's not! "Turn around," after understanding what Sebastian's purpose is she clutched the clothes and looked at Sebastian. "I don't need to turn around, Lieutenant." Sebastian gave Anna a smirk. "Do you Want to try my punch, Commander? It's better than a bomb, it can destroy your face in a short period of time," Anna retorted. She was annoyed at Sebastian's sudden change in attitude. "Nah! My face is precious to be wasted by your punch, Lieutenant." Sebastian's grin widened at Anna's glare before he chuckled. Shaking his head he relented and turned his back on Anna. Translated by : AYG
