CHAPTER 1 () A BROKEN PRINCESS. LUNA’S POV. Thanks for reading. * * * Thousands of years, the Rashvid pack had been the strongest pack in all the lycan kingdom, it’s generations has grown to being the greatest among their ancestors. It is said when a kingdom is ruled by a powerful king, nothing gets in their way, no fears, and no weaknesses. This saying has gone through the years in the Rashvid pack. The Rashvid bloodline has followed one rules, and is never to choice no other mate except your fated mate. 100 years ago. The tenth King, Alpha Sarga, broke the promise made by his ancestors. He was a king of great values, his people worshiped him more than they’ve ever done. However, everything came crashing when he couldn’t find a fated mate, and was the forced by his people to take in a concubine as his consort. A king is bound to listen to his people when solutions become unsolvable. A consort was taken, vow’s made, three years being the king consort, a male was born. Everyone was happy except the moon goddess. A curse befalls the kingdom, the ladyship died after few months of putting to bed, the kingdom became weak, giving the opportunity for other pack to attack. Slowly, the Rashvid pack were perished, the male child was hidden away from danger. Years passed, and no signs of his return’s. * * “Everyone is afraid of something, Luna.”. I should’ve taken those words to heart, maybe be more smarter when he said it. But I chose to neglect it, believing I feared no one, I feared nothing. Not until my parents laid on their pool of blood, my hands stained by their bloods. While the man responsible turns me into a what I am today. A slave, a pet in his gambling , his trophy. “Make sure to scrub the floor like the future Luna ordered”. I flinched as the head maids tossed the wet fabric on my face, dropping the bucket hard on the floor, not minding the mess she created. “…yes madam Tin”. I nodded, not out of commands, but the fact that it’s the only way for me to survive. She hissed, stepping on my ripped garment’s before walking away. It’s funny on how things had changed in the past few years. Five years, felt’s like hundreds. I was once their everything, a princess who’s smiles meant everything to them. Someone who’s ready to sacrifice herself for their futures, now became their stepping stones. I hissed as my nails hits a shell of a pavement, a little blood circulation on the surface. My throat feels like it was being choked by thorns I refuse to let out. I could still remember how protective this same peoples I called family reacts to a slight scratch on my skins. (Five years ago). *** “She’s a murder!”. “We don’t want a Luna who’s hands is stained by her parent’s blood , she killed our king, she’s a murder”. “She should be thrown into the darkest forests for beasts like her to rip her apart”. The crowds kept yelling, kept pointing their fingers at me, while I knelt before the man I was fated to by the moon goddess, the man who’s hands were filled by my parents blood. He had always been the perfect mate i and my late parents thought he was, a nobody who I made somebody. Kayden. Or maybe Alpha Kayden. He sat their, a satisfying smirk on his face. The council’s remained unbothered, their faces clenched with disgust. “I have told you all, I didn’t kill my parents… why would I kill those who birthed me”. I yelled across the chorus, the crowds dropping their whispers. I sobs.. clenching hard on my sheets. “They meant everything to me…”. “And yet you killed them”. He interrupted, shrugging as if it’s meant nothing. He clicked his tongue in mockery, a devilish grin plastered on his face. “Luna… Luna… Luna..”. He began flatly. “Just admit your mistakes, then maybe I shall spare you a little punishment”. My eyes darkened. “As the crown Alpha of the Blue Lunar pack, my words is finest”. I laughed dryly, how amusing of him to use my father’s position to flatter himself. “Not even a strands of my hair shall bows to someone who feeds on others powers”. I growled without hesitation. His eyes twisted in rage “Very well then…, I might as well be little kind to you.” His voice laced with mild resentment. “No Alpha will want a weak PATHETIC omega to rule a kingdom as powerful as the Blue Lunar’s pack”. There was a short pause. “I Alpha Kayden Vent. The alpha of Blue Lunar , Hereby rejects Luna Silas as my fated mate and the future Luna of the pack”. I clench my chest in pain, holding back the screams of pain staking my chest and refuses to give them the satisfaction of my defeat. “She will be a stepping stone, a slave to the kingdom.”. He concluded, his smiles still in tights. I laughed through my teeth, they’ll shot me a look like I’ve lost my mind. Blue Lunar.. the name was given immediately I was born, on that day, the kingdom won a war nearly impossible. “She definitely lost her mind”. The guards handcuffed me, dragging me away. They had mock me, called me names, painted my faces with dark muds, my garments torn apart. I slept in cold floors, hardly served a meal, and when it’s comes, it felt like dogs had nibble on it. Few days passed, and a Luna was crowned, rumor’s says she was heavily pregnant, and each laughter they let out, made my skins growl in despite. While they all celebrated their happiness behind my back, I laid in the dark cell, day and night. The same kingdom my parents had fought side by side, a kingdom which has been the largest, greatest and strongest over the years, stood there watching their once priceless princess locked away like criminals. My heart felt like it’s being ripped out, replaced by a colder steel instead. Yes, everyone is afraid of something, they believe the kingdom is their shield, they believe to be untouchable, i Luna Silas, will prove them wrong. I will make their kingdom fall, I will destroy their pride, their ego. They will be mocked, they will become my slaves, my trophies. This is my pack, and it will always MINE Blue Lunar. ()
