The first day was so jam-packed with information we definitely needed to have a little fun. Our parents had another meeting in the big auditorium with the other parents of newly shifted wolves and were planning to mingle afterwards. We were free to have fun for the rest of the day. This week was going to be so much fun.
“Let's go to the water park since we’re not needed for the rest of the day,” Janet suggested.
“ Okay, let’s go change and we can meet back at the water park in what 15 minutes?” Tia asked.
“That sounds good to me. Before I go up, I’ll check to see if we need towels and will send a text if you need to bring them”, I stated and they agreed before heading up to their room.
Towels were provided so I sent that quick text and fifteen minutes later we were meeting at the front door of the water park. I had on my new hot pink bikini. Janet had on a yellow one with blue stripes and Tia had on a frilly red one-piece swimsuit. Our goal was to go down every slide, then swim some in the wave pool before dinner.
We were just walking in and deciding which slide to go on first when we heard, “Hey, Tia, wait up!” from a tall slender guy. I could feel he had some rank in his blood, but I wasn’t certain, since many hybrids have a strong aura as well. He had a chill expression on the outside but I could feel his excitement.
“Umm, Tia, who is this guy?” Janet asked.
“Oh. This is Corey. His mom and mine grew up together at the Black Moon Pack before my mom met my dad and moved to Sycamore Hills Pack. His mom left Black Moon also when she met his dad and they live in Western Revier Park now. He’s a nice guy and I promise you will like him”, Tia said, then turned to this Corey guy, “Corey, these are my friends from my pack. This is Janet and that is Lexi.”
“Hello ladies. I was supposed to meet up with my brother and soon to be Alpha but they said they had to take care of some business, so do you mind if I join you?” Corey asked.
“ Oh, I met your future Alpha and some of his “business earlier.” I murmured.
“You did?” Corey asked with a puzzled look on his face.
“Yes. My mom grew up with Luna Dianne. I met her and Alpha Ralph earlier today. They were very pleasant.” I answered with a smile.
“Yes they are very nice. They’re like family since my dad is his Beta. My brother is Alpha Rashawn’s future Beta.” Corey explained.
“Well, since Tia vouched for you, I guess you’re cool to hang out with us. Guys, let's get on that slide first.” Janet suggested. Janet has a fixed mindset. Once she’s got something on her brain, that’s what her focus is and right then it was getting in the water.
We had so much fun in the water park and probably wouldn’t have left if it wasn’t for our stomachs rumbling telling us it was dinner time. We all decided to go back to our room to change and meet back up in front of the cafeteria for dinner.
Walking towards the meeting spot, I was caught by another surprise. “Oh great,” I sarcastically said under my breath. Corey is standing with Alpha Rashawn and who I assume to be his brother.
“O-M-G”, Tia pops out of nowhere exclaiming (probably one of the hallways in the area I was standing) and excitedly whispers, “Corey brought his brother Beta Brent and Alpha. Girl, why didn’t you tell me his alpha is so gorgeous?”
Startled, I turned to her and explained, “Because he knows he’s gorgeous and has a whole entourage.”
“Who has an entourage?” Janet walked down the hall behind us, asking.
“Those gorgeous hunks of men in front of us.” Tia whispers to Janet as we walked over to where the guys were waiting.
“Hey ladies. I hope you don’t mind. I brought my brother and future Beta, Brent and my future Alpha, Rashawn,” Corey states.
“NO we don’t mind” both Tia and Janet say in sync, a little too excited for my liking.
“Guys, these are the ladies I’ve been hanging out with this afternoon, Tia, Janet and Lexi.” Corey introduced us.
I just smile and nod to be at peace as we walk over to a table and put our things down to go to the buffet-style dinner setup.
“ I wonder if their entourage is nearby,” Sierra inquired.
“I don’t see them, but even if they come, we can just ignore them and have a nice dinner with our friends, right?” I ask.
“I hope so. I smell BBQ. We need to find where that smell is coming from.”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
I close the link as I walk to the area where my nose is leading me. I pile my plate up with baked beans, mac & cheese, green beans, potato salad, BBQ ribs, chicken, and a hot dog slightly burnt just like I like it. Now it’s a balancing act to get back to the table with my friends.
Janet had a plate of seafood, Tia went with the pasta, and Corey probably had the biggest burger I have ever seen before with fries.
“You are going to go get something to eat, aren’t you?” Corey asks his brother who is stealing a fry off his plate.
“No, our food is being delivered,” his brother replied. And as if on cue, more shewolves come over with plates of food for both the young alpha and beta.
