A Weird Encounter
Alpha Dante was in the gym working out when alarms started going off in the packhouse. He was confused because they were in the desert, and the closest town was 100 miles towards the east. His Delta Michael came into the gym and started to tell him that there was a breach when, all of a sudden, the alarms stopped. They looked at each other and ran towards the computer room to see what was happening. When they looked at the screens, there was nothing outside.
Dante was looking for the security patrol that should have been around the wall barrier. No one was around. He tried to mind-link with them and didn't get an answer from anyone. He looked over at Michael and asked him, "Did you get any answers from the patrol when you mind-linked?" Michael said,"No." They went outside and looked by the wall where the patrol should be and noticed a shimmer. It was almost imperceptible, but they caught it just in time.
As they got closer, they could feel the other pack members had disappeared. This is weird, but cool in a way. Michael, being the goof he usually is, says,"Well, I guess we found everyone, we just can't see them," and chuckles. I looked at him and frowned, saying, " This isn't funny, Michael, we need to figure out what's happening. How can they be invisible? " Next thing I know, everyone is right in front of me. Including a small, slender, brown-haired beauty laying on the ground unconscious.
Michael looks at me and says, "Who is that, and why is she naked in the desert? " I know it gets hot, but come on. I look at her and then look at the patrol men, and I growl. It catches everyone's attention, and I stop, shaking my head. I go to pick her up, and she opens her eyes. She looks scared. I don't blame her, she doesn't know us. I look at her, and so does Michael. I go to say something to her, and she growls at me like a wild animal. What is wrong with her?
I say very soothingly," Hi, I'm Dante, and this is Michael. "What is your name?" She looks at us with her head c****d to the side and says very quietly, "I don't know." We look at her, puzzled at how she couldn't know her own name. She then says," Where am I? " She is visibly shaking like she is scared of us. I asked her if she would like to go inside the house and get some clothes. I ask her, as I take off my shirt, if she wants to wear it so she can be covered up.
She nods at me, and we walk in silence. I think to myself, what is going on here? I look over at Michael, and he is in deep thoughts as well. I got to the door and opened it, gesturing for her to go in. She hesitates, then looks at both of us and goes in. She looks at the table, then at me, and I nod. She goes to the table and sits down. She is stunning. Why was she out there in the desert? I have so many questions, but I'll wait until she feels better about being here. I ask her if she is tired, and she shakes her head, yes. I asked her if she wanted to pick a room so she could clean up. She nodded yes.
Michael and I walked her upstairs to one of the guest bedrooms, showed her where everything was, and let her get settled. Michael went out and got her some essentials and dropped them off in the room on the bed, then left and closed the door. There is something about her. I feel the thrumming in my chest, and I see Michael feels something for her, too. I'll need to talk to him about her soon.
We waited for her to come downstairs. It takes a while, but when she stops at the door, my breath catches, and I see how beautiful she is. She is in my shirt again, curiosity gets the better of me, and I ask if the other clothes didn't fit. She looks hurt and runs back upstairs and comes back down in a t-shirt and shorts. Now I feel bad. I didn't mean she had to take off my shirt. She looks scared of me again. I wonder what happened to her?
It was dinner time, so I asked her if she wanted something to eat, and she said yes. I make her a plate of food, and for some strange reason, I have the urge to feed her. Where are all these feelings coming from? I looked over at Michael, and he just looked curious. I'll ask him later if he feels anything for her. Michael says goodnight, and I go to bed too.
