Magnificent and Powerful

Rosa walks around the compound with Dante and Michael. They have no problem being around her wolf, but they still can't talk to her by mindlink until Halen becomes part of the pack. This will happen tonight at the big party we're having for her. She didn't want a big party but not only is she becoming a part of the pack but we're celebrating her magnificent wolf. Rosa is most definitely different but exquisite in her beauty. The white tips on her ears and her being almost a bluish black color are definitely rare. It's a royalty color for princess alpha's from an old ancient pack, and only a few members remain to this day. I wonder if her past reflects this? I'll have to dig a little further so I can get us both answers.

I have a talk with Halen about the ceremony and what will happen. She will have to shift in front of the whole pack. I know how she feels about shifting in front of others, but to become part of the pack, she must do it. As she listens to me, she nods every now and then. I can tell her mind is working overtime with all the information I'm giving her. I continue explaining everything, and then Halen looks at me and says, "Thank you. Thank you for everything." I smile at her and nod. I tell her the ceremony starts at midnight so she can rest until 10 pm. I'll have someone come help her to get ready when it's time. I leave Halen, go to my office, and look at the file on my desk. It's a file about Halen and her family. I was surprised to find out she is royalty but not completely surprised.

I get my mother, Shayla, to help Halen get ready. I introduced them, and they hit it off well. My mother is a good mediator, she can calm just about any situation. I figured she could get to know Halen and befriend her. I am hoping it works because Halen is very important to me and the pack. When I see my mother right before the ceremony, I look at her and breathe a sigh of relief from the look in her eyes. She must have gotten Halen to relax at least enough to get through the ceremony. Afterward, I can hide her away until she's ready to face the pack as a new member.

We are preparing everything to start the ceremony. I am standing at the front of the pack, and I'm so anxious like it's my first date. This woman certainly does things to my mind and soul I still can't comprehend. As I look in the audience, I notice in the back a figure in a cloak of white. I wait to see who it is, although I have my suspicion. Knowing my mother, she made this almost like a wedding for Halen. It is freeing to be broken away from an unwanted pack and be linked to an acceptable pack who adores you. Halen doesn't quite feel this, but it will grow in time. I all of a sudden can't wait for this to be finished so I can hold her and love her properly.

I watch as she ascends through the pack and stops in front of me. She drops to her knees and bows her head, and tilts it slightly to the right. This shows reverence and respect to your Alpha and, above all, obedience. I wonder if the thoughts running through my head can be heard by anyone else? I look out at the pack, and with a sigh of relief, the answer is no. I feel like I'm screaming,"She's mine!" I look down at her and start my speech. I welcome our new pack member and touch her shoulder, and feel a flash of pain as I hear her scream. Her old bond was severed, and she belonged to our pack now. She is free of her past but not of her future. Me. Us.

After the ceremony, some of the pack members congratulated Halen for becoming part of our pack. Some were still skeptical as to why she landed in our territory. I hope to swat everyone's thoughts to the positive. think we have found my mate, my Luna. Our Luna.When we were by ourselves, I asked Halen if she wanted to go on a run with me as our wolves. She smiled and nodded her head but said very softly,"I hope you can keep up with me." I gasped at her audacity and told her in an ominous growl," You better hope I don't catch you." And next thing I know, she's off and running I to the woods away from me as fast as she can laughing. When I get close to her, she shifts into her magnificent wolf. I shift as well, and the chase is on.

We get as far as the woods allow us before we hit other territory. I stop near her and watch as she eyes me carefully. She is breathing like she didn't just run 10 miles. She all of a sudden emits this blinding light that makes me shiver . She is definitely powerful because all I want to do is submit to her, and I'm an Alpha. What a precious little gem I've found. I need to keep her a secret for a while. I think she showed me this so I would know what happened in the woods when the other wolves were chasing her. She was frightened and angry, and she showed her royalty powers. She made them submit. Magnificent indeed.

Later on, when we get back, Halen asks to be excused so she can shower before dinner. I told her I'd see her soon. I saw my mother walking down the hall and asked her what she thought of Halen. My mom touched my cheek and told me, "Halen is special and powerful. She is a perfect mate for you. You will rule this place together and be extremely powerful together." I just nodded and smiled back like I won the lottery.
