Chapter 27 The after-dinner conversation with her mum made Annie feel like she was walking barefoot through a patch of stinging nettles. When she’d explained that Harry had put his farm up for sale, her mum had gone very quiet for a few minutes, and then flipped around and started asking for every detail. How much was he selling for? Had Uncle Willie’s estate been finalised and the title to the property transferred into Harry’s name now that he was old enough? How was Harry feeling? Did he need company?
