Bethel's POV
I couldn't believe he was my tutor.
I had slept with my tutor, and the funny thing was, I didn't even remember how it happened.
At that moment, I felt both embarrassed and shocked, although I would say the shock definitely overpowered the embarrassment.
I stared at him with wide eyes and slightly parted lips.
He leaned toward where I was lying and said,
"Hmm, don't want to learn today? Then that means you want to continue where we left off."
He said it so casually that I had never felt more embarrassed in my life.
His voice was deep and undeniably sexy. His Adam's apple moved as he spoke, and I found myself completely captivated by the way he talked.
But wait...
What was he doing here?
Was he stalking me?
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
I mean, I had seen his house, and he looked well-to-do, so why was he here? What exactly was he doing in my house?
"To get paid," he replied simply as he sat on the chair beside me.
Without waiting for another question, he continued,
"I was told you're having problems with your course. Seven tutors since January, and it's only July."
I quietly murmured,
"Not that you'll last a week."
He looked at me as though he had heard every word.
A smirk appeared on his lips.
He pulled another chair closer, tapped it lightly, signaling me to sit.
Without realizing it, I obeyed.
"I'm Allari Wilson, and I'll be your new tutor. And, of course, you'll be stuck with me until you graduate."
Yeah, right.
No tutor had ever lasted that long.
Why was he so confident?
I didn't take him for someone who would accept a job like this.
I mean, he looked rich.
Maybe I was wrong.
Maybe he needed the money.
"Why are you here? Are you stalking me?" I asked again because I wasn't about to let it go.
"Do you want me to?"
"No!" I answered almost immediately.
"Then let's get to it, shall we?"

Allari's POV
I kept staring at her peaceful sleeping face.
She looked angelic as the morning sunlight illuminated her features.
I just couldn't get enough of looking at her.
The more I stared, the more beautiful she seemed.
She shifted slightly, and I knew she would wake up soon.
So, I pretended to be asleep and turned slightly away from her.
She sighed softly and tried to sit up, but she groaned in pain.
I couldn't help the sly smile that found its way onto my lips.
I knew very well I was the reason she couldn't sit up properly.
I heard her gasp as she lifted the sheet covering my body before quickly pulling it back over me.
I guessed she had finally realized what she thought had happened.
I turned slightly toward her, and I immediately felt all movement on the bed stop.
I slowly opened my eyes and caught her staring at me.
Normally, I never cared when women stared at me.
But for some reason, I was strangely pleased to catch her doing it.
Well...
What can I say?
I'm known for breaking hearts.
I accidentally turned more than I intended to, and she jerked away as though she'd been caught committing a crime.
She hurriedly got dressed and rushed out of the room.
The previous night, I had instructed the security team to let her leave without questioning her.
I figured she'd react exactly like this.
I picked up my pants and put them on before walking toward the balcony.
From there, I watched her run toward the gate as though someone was chasing her.
It was both funny and adorable.
I couldn't help but smile.
Even after she disappeared through the gate, I kept staring outside as though I expected her to come back.
My phone suddenly rang, pulling me out of my thoughts.
I sighed before walking back into the room and answering the call.
It was Bayo, my assistant.
"Good morning, sir," he greeted.
"Bayo, any news?" I asked, expecting something important. Otherwise, he wouldn't be calling this early.
"I've found the perfect undercover job for you, sir."
"What is it, Bayo?"
"A private tutor for the only daughter of Ayomide Louis. I've sent the briefing to your email, along with her profile and their home address."
"Alright then."
I ended the call.
After freshening up and having breakfast, I opened my email.
The moment I saw her picture, I smiled.
Beautiful.
I studied the photo carefully before chuckling to myself.
Looks like today is about to get interesting.
Who said fate doesn't exist?
"Bethel Louis," I said aloud, laughing softly.
"What a coincidence."
I stood up from the dining table as the butler came over to clear it.
Then I headed out.
I couldn't stop smiling to myself.
Looks like I'll be seeing her again today.
I drove straight to the Louis Villa.
It was huge.
Not quite as massive as I had expected, but impressive nonetheless.
As I walked toward the entrance, I noticed a woman in the garden.
I assumed she was Bethel's mother.
After reading the family's background, details like this were impossible to miss.
I parked my car, and the chauffeur collected my keys.
Mrs. Ayomide spotted me from a distance and walked toward me with a warm smile.
I greeted her politely.
She smiled even wider.
"You are so handsome. I'm sure Bethel will love you."
I smiled to myself.
You have no idea.
The butler led me upstairs to Bethel's room.
Without hesitation, I knocked.
A soft voice answered from inside.
I opened the door and stepped in.
The room was neat and cozy.
She had excellent taste in aesthetic designs.
Music-note decorations covered one side of the wall near her closet, and a large guitar rested in the corner.
It was obvious she truly loved music.
"I don't feel like learning today. I hate you already," she said while lying on the bed with her eyes closed.
I simply stood there, silently watching her.
Patiently waiting.
I couldn't wait for her to open her eyes.
