As I pushed the thoughts of my mother out of my mind I came back to reality as Warren was getting ready to take Lily home for the night again. As they left I shouted "no Mc Donald's tomorrow Warren!" He chuckled and mumbled "okay" as the door closed behind them. The rest of the days began to blend between therapy with Dr Black and treatment from Dr Manning and Eva being ever watchful I began to become frustrated and restless. So to distract myself I started going through my phone. 102 unread messages yesh that's alot!

Looking through the messages a few stood out to me one being from pc Carter. I smiled to myself at the memory of Jez being inappropriate with him. The message read 'fancy going out for dinner with me sometime?' Simple and to the point I liked it. It was sent over a week ago. I hadn't realised I'd been here for nearly two weeks. I replied 'sorry I've not been well but when I'm better I'd love to' Jez's voice popped into my head come on girl you can do better than that. I shook my head not wanting to over complicate it. He replied instantly 'I was wondering if you was okay. Last I saw of you, you was k.od on the path outside tastebuds.' I smiled and replied 'I'm getting there and uurhhh don't remind me I'm so embarrassed' with a see no evil monkey emoji.

We started texting back and fourth getting to know eachother. It was a good distraction and when dinner came I was texting whilst eating and finished in record time. The pain had been easing up with the baby food as I had come to call it. Tomorrow they wanted to start making it more lumpy to see if my stomach will keep it down, I felt like a infant learning to eat actual food. But when I get back to solids they agreed that they would release me on the conditions that I keep it up at home and see a therapist 3 times a week. They wanted it daily but I told them I wanted to actually live my life. It took a while but they agreed.

After a few days of lumpy foods they started moving me onto side plate size plates of soft foods that I'd have to chew and eat fully like Spaghetti bolognese. Nothing to heavy but enough to fill my stomach rapidly.

Later that night I had a nightmare and fell out of the bed the night nurse rushed in and helped me back into bed putting up the railings so I wouldn't fall out again I was embarrassed and sore. The following morning I woke up and my shoulder was hurting alot I couldn't move it fully and as I went to get dressed I cried out in pain and Eva rushed in she checked me over and it appeared I had a trapped nerve.
