Dr Manning cleared his throat as we exited the shower room and I flushed red as he went to speak. "Eva you understand the rules of engagement with patients on a personal level correct?" I cut him off immediately not wanting to have Eva removed or worse fired. "What's personal about helping me get showered and dressed?" He looked at me with a deadpan stare "really? Showered and dressed huh?" He asked sarcastically I nodded yes adamantly "I fell our if bed last night and hurt my shoulder and couldn't sort myself out this morning" gesturing with my unhurt arm the pain there once more and I winced as I tried to move it groaning as I shifted and he looked at me and asked me to sit so he could examine me. "Yup Eva is right it is just a trapped nerve" nodding towards her as he began to tape me up to help it from continually throbbing he sent Eva yo get pain medication. "So Cassie the moans I heard were of pain?" I flushed red and looked up at him not at his eyes but his forehead as I spoke keeping my voice measured "yeah that and you have good water pressure and Eva is nothing if not through she didn't want to risk me getting a water infection on top of everything else bless her I bet she feels so awkward right now as I couldn't imagine helping another grown woman cleanse herself"

Dr Manning raised an eyebrow at me but accepted my answer not having any other choice but to. I felt a little bubbles of anger towards him for some unknown reason and in seconds Jez was back and I was back in the box.

As he turned to walk away she grabbed his wrist. "What is your issue doc?"

He turned back looking at Jez realising that it was no longer Cassie from the facial expressions alone. "I have no issue, I just have a duty of care to protect my patients" he stated calmly.

"Well doc if your worried maybe next time you can help me in the shower" Jez said smugly wriggling her eyebrows suggestively making Dr Manning flush and step back as he flustered and stuttered out "uh um t...that w..won..won't be n..ne..necessary" his face flushed a little red and he looked at Jez and she was smirking at him as she stood and walked with a sway towards him. "So I take it Eva will be allowed to continue to aid Cassie" with a purr she examined his white coat and straightened it up holding the sides looking him in the eyes daring him to challenge her. He nodded in defeat accepting that Jez would probably be inappropriate otherwise. "Words please doc" she stated with a cockiness in her voice not even I recognised. "Yes" he said.

Jez c****d her eyebrow and pulled him lower by his tie "yes what?" She asked her voice stern and commanding lowering his gaze not able to meet her piecering eyes "yes, Jez" he swallowed flustered by her dominant attitude. She released his tie straightening it out and smiled cheerily at him "thanks doc, I'm feeling better already" she sat back down on the bed and as Eva returned she giggled "oooh presents already" as Eva handed her the pain medication making Eva flush. Dr Manning said his goodbyes and instructed Eva to keep an eye on me. Jez grinned as he left and patted the bed for Eva to come cuddle up.
