Dr Black left with his notes as I burst into tears and Eva came in and tried to console me. As Dr Manning was looking over my chart he looked at my with pity. I asked him "why does Dr Black want to take Jez from me?"

His eyes softened as he answered "because you've created someone to be able to disassociate from reality and it can be dangerous"

I looked at him pleading "but she's not dangerous"

He lowered his gaze not wanting to meet my eyes "but she could be, she's your anger being released, she could hurt someone if left unchecked"

My jaw dropped "but she wouldn't"

He paused calculating his next words carefully "but what if she did? What if she seriously hurt somebody because she could have hurt Dr Black today"

My mind raced thoughts overwhelming me and panic rising and as my breathing became erratic I felt like my lungs had dropped out from me. Sensing my distress Jez spoke to me in my mind trying to calm me down as Dr Manning and Eva tried to settle me down. Realizing that I wasn't going to calm down Jez took over and I hid in my box.

"Doc I get your worried but I wouldn't hurt anyone. My bark is big enough that I don't have to"

Dr Manning looked over to Jez and recognised the change before she had even spoke. "Can you guarantee that?" He asked surprised that she would admit that she's mainly bark. "Duh" Jez said with attitude and smirked at him "and before you say but you got physical with Dr Black just be warned he got physical first and I just put him in his place"

Dr Manning was shocked and relieved. "Okay but if that's the case what if a situation called for it to get violent?"

Jez sat on the edge of the bed swinging her legs "it wouldn't and if it did it would only be self defence so that's a non issue"

Dr Manning thought and he said "okay so you wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose?"

Jez looked at him insulted "no of course not I'm not a monster besides if I did that cassie wouldn't let me out to play and I like to play" Jez giggled eyeing Eva. Eva smiled and flushed red. Jez hopped off the bed and went to get the shakes shaking her head at them. Pouring it into the glass and taking a sip she crinkled her nose at it. "Hey doc when can we get Cassie back on actual food I hate this stuff?"

Dr Manning saw an opportunity to test something. "What do you like to eat Jez?"

Jez eyed Eva and chuckled as Dr Manning scolded her "actual food Jez"

Sighing she looked at him and said "anything but hospital food"

He chuckled "okay so where are we headed?"

Jez looked at her phone and found a local restaurant and said "here" as she handed him the phone. He nodded and said "okay well you best get dressed gesturing to the bag of clothing sat in the draws he'd brought in the first time he had shown Cassie that she wasn't obese like she had believed. Jez went through the bag and

Found a pair of skinny jeans and a tartan shirt that Cassie had overlooked before. Jez went into the shower room and changed and came out with a twirl "pick up your jaw doc because I know it's dropped with how good I look in these" he chuckled at how different to Cassie Jez truly was. Jez grabbed Cassie's sidebag and Dr Manning and Eva followed as they checked the paperwork at reception to leave on a short term basis. Excited Jez skipped down the hall carefree.

When they got outside Dr Manning guided both Eva and Jez to his car. In 20 minutes they was at the restaurant. Algarve's Grill it was a Portuguese style that done tapas and steaks and when they was seated Jez ordered the steak rare with extra mushrooms chips and a side of haloumi but told them no rice. Cassie had made her sick of rice and beans for over a month and she wasn't here to eat stuff like that she wanted the good food. She savoured every bite, it was absolutely divine and enjoyed a ice cold virgin cocktail alongside the meal as the doc was driving it wouldn't be fair to rub it in.
