As the hours were ticking, Syrian got more agitated, thousand of questions were running through his mind, but he was more worried about her. He spent hundreds of years searching for her but had never imagined that he will find her in this state. After asking her doctor, he transferred her to his mansion.
Althea woke up in the middle of the night, only the tiny moonlight trickling through the curtain, illuminated the room enough for her to see the outline of a man sitting in the chair facing her bed. Slowly, her senses adjusted to the unlit room. She could now see him perfectly well. His eyes were closed, but she knew that he was awake. His face was devoid of any emotion, his pale skin made his ruby red lips stand out even more.
Syrian’s heart-beat was erratic, as Althea reached forward to touch his cold face. Just then his eyes fluttered open. A soft gasp left Althea’s mouth as she gazed into his golden orbs. They were both enthralled with each other. They snapped out of their trance when a loud crash was heard downstairs. Syrian ran towards the source of the sound while Althea followed him. All seven of them were present there. They all turned simultaneously towards Althea when she entered the room. A fan had tried to enter their house again. This was the third time this week.
Syrian had changed his name from Erebus to Syrian once he came to the human world. He followed his passion for music along with his friends here and since then they have become very famous.
Back at home, his life was too restricted, as a prince he had too many rules imposed on him. The last straw of his patience was when his parents announced his engagement with some duchess without asking him. He wanted to find his mate, and spend his entire life in love, he did not want to spend the rest of his life as a prisoner of his parent’s wish.
Hence he packed his things and set on a mission to find his mate alongside his best friends. The seven of them have not returned their hometown for the past fifty years.
