Prologue
Eons ago, life was different. No pollution, no violence, and no war. Everybody lived in harmony and peace- all animals, humans and the creatures of the dark. They all lived happily however as days went by, the humans became more conscious of their power and knowledge, thus endangering the existence of every other creature alive on Earth. Endangering even the mightiest magical being- the dragons. All magical beings were forced to leave their home and create their mythical world. They were separated from the creatures they were once friends with. They created a magical barrier around there realm so that no human could venture near them.
However, the strongest of all creatures, the dragons, hid further away because the dragons were the most endangered species because of their tears. Their tears were said to bring eternal youth and infinite power to the one who drank it. The dragons were majestic creatures of the dark, whose roar could transcend the sky and whose flap of wings could cause turbulence.
.They were the silent protectors of Gaia. Even though they protected every being on Earth and maintained balance, they were unknown to everyone. Everybody thought that they didn't exist.
Over the years, due to the several Orison, of the leader the water dragon Ageus, the dragon got the boon to shapeshift into any form they'd like and to blend in the environment they are in. Therefore making the dragon one with nature, claiming and safeguarding it from all external dangers.
They lived happily and peacefully. Until one day, when one young dragon destroyed the house of an old witch. She cursed his whole clan without really knowing who he was. When she realized it was already too late to take the bane back but she gave him an ultimatum. She said, " If under a fortnight, one of you guys don't bring me the glass of heart from the mountain of the fairies and the tears of a young maiden dragon, then your whole community will fall to ashes."
Since then, one by one all the warriors were falling sick then they went on a rampage destroying everything on their path, not even sparing their wife and children. Their ruler was forced to put them in solitary confinement cells so that they don't attack anyone.
Worried Ageus, contacted his daughter Althea, the healer of the dragons and also the only dragon with ichor- the golden blood of a god. She was kept in constraint so that no one could see her. Only her parents were allowed to visit her.
She had the power to heal everything with just one drop of blood, however, she could only unleash her true powers if she meets and falls in love with her true soulmate.
The perplexed girl felt useless as she could not bear to see the dissolution of her community. Only one question rang in her head
'when would she meet her mate?'
She was hopeless until one of her uncles suggested that she should go and seek the help of the Oracle.
She got ready, only the bravest of hearts can face the Oracle. Althea's face blanched when she heard the Oracle " ...go to the world of humans and you shall find what you seek..."
She kept thinking that her mate would be a human. Humans can't know about this world...
