Chapter 3

570 Words
Cronos POV  I come back and see them looking at me, Cole with a b****y nose and the other looking at me, repulsed. The other looks untouched. And the principal looked at me as if I had just lost it, which I technically probably did.    I look down and notice I’m shirtless with all my scars visible. I look around and see that my shirt is on the ground and immediately grab it and put it on.   “What happened?” I ask once I have the shirt on.    They all look at me, looking confused and a little weirded out. The principal clears his throat. “You just went on a rant telling us some… personal stuff, you don’t remember?” He says.   Shit, s**t, s**t! I look down with a panicked face. What the heck did I say? I had my shirt off so they must have seen the scars. Just then Mark and Sarah walked in looking panicked but calmed down when they saw me sitting down and not going off on the principal.   “Oh my god, Cronos. Did you....?” Sarah says worriedly.   “Ummm, I think so? Don’t really remember what happened though. When I realized what was happening I had my shirt off though so there’s that.” I say with a slight laugh at the end.   “Can you tell these boys to go while we discuss something?” Mark asks.   “Oh, yes. Boys, you are dismissed, I will call you back later, this conversation isn't over.” They get up and get out, but not before giving me a glare. What surprises me is that I glared back, it seemed to surprise them too. What surprised me the most is the fact that the one that didn't look touched didn’t glare. He actually gave me a slight smile. And mouthed ‘sorry’.   “I am so sorry for what happened, if you give us a chance to explain than I swear it’ll make sense” Sarah pleaded with Mr.Gonzales.   “After what he said I already understand, he is excused but I would like to know how you went from being violent and cussing two students out to being calm, quiet, and apologetic.” He seems curious but I honestly didn’t get it either.   “ Well, apparently I have dissociative identity disorder. We know basically nothing other than that.” I say.   “Oh....hmm..... What can I do to help? I can tell your teachers what’s going on too. We don’t really have a kind of procedure for this” he seems like he’s trying to be helpful, at least.   “We actually don’t really know anything ourselves, the only thing we could want from you is that next time he switches, can you ask what their name is?” Sarah asks. I had never really thought of that, asking their name...   “Oh, also, if he switches to the violent person, just make sure to tell the teachers not to do something that makes him mad. I honestly don’t know who he would hit.” Mark says while looking at me sympathetically, I look at the ground while trying to think of something to stop all of this.   (Time skip next chapter)
