Great, now we have to deal with the sacred moon pack warriors. The boss isn’t gonna like this. There is a lot of commotion coming from the pack house and I see the door open and someone run out with a young person in there arms.

Humm I wonder if that is my girl. I wonder if she is the one i have been looking for. I will need to get closer to the hospital to find out.

I have been here watching, trying to find the angel that my boss is looking for. He says she will be hard to find. Her mother has done a really good job at hiding her from me.

As I watch, I see Alpha Bradley run from the pack house with a young woman in his arms. Humm, that might be her. She fits the description the boss gave me.

How am I gonna get her out of the hospital? I will just bide my time and watch for now. I will have to let my boss know I believe I found her. I mind link the boss and telling him about the new development that has come into play. He tells me to come back so we can make a plan.

I have been pacing for hours, still no news of my mate. Bane is whining, giving me a serious headache.

Luke looked up from where he had been seated and just looked at me with sad eyes. I looked at him and then back at the door that they took my mate through hours ago.

Just as I look back at Luke, I hear the door open and the doctor comes out.

Alpha Bradley, she has made it through the surgery but she is very weak and will need some time to heal. I have had to keep her in a medically induced coma. She has six broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder, not to mention the head trauma that she has.

It will be some time before she will wake up. She has been beaten severely. If you had not found her she may not have made it.

Everything is black, i feel like i am floating and that my body is weightless. I tried to talk to Lena, no answer. Am i dead? Is this what death is just blackness? I feel nothing, no pain, no hunger, just numb. Then I hear sniffling in the distance. I moved towards the sound and there appeared to be light. I followed it to an opening that I went through and it was a beautiful oasis with lake trees and luscious grass. I saw a woman sitting there with her back to me. I say, excuse me, where am I? The woman turns and is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She is tall, about five foot ten feet with beautiful blonde hair and the most majestic eyes.

I am Selene, the moon goddess child. I have been waiting for you. She stated matter of factly.

I rushed back through the darkness, I heard beeping and snoring. Who is here with me? Why does my hand feel hot? I try to open my eyes but they are heavy. I finally open them but it is so bright I instantly close them. I will try again. I hear shuffling and someone saying get the dr she;s waking up.

I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful sea-green eyes staring back at me and then with the smell of sandalwood and rosemary with a hint of musk.

I blink several times and the only word that comes out of my mouth in a gravely sound is “MATE’.

As the dr came into the room she was shocked. She stopped in her tracks and looked at the two of them.

I asked for water. My throat was dry and hurt really badly. I needed water.

The dr who introduced herself as dr Lala looked over all my wounds and stated that I was healed and would be able to leave this afternoon. I looked at her and frowned. This meant that I would be back to work and the abuse would be worse because I was in the hospital.
