~ Chapter Three ~

"Argh! How dare that arrogant asshole ignore me!" I groaned while debating whether to enter the academy's gymnasium? I'm so frustrated with that guy who just wasted my whole thirty minutes for nothing! I should've kicked his ass instead! I can't believe how I sincerely helped him, that's it Violet! No more helping people.  When I looked at the time, I felt frustrated. I really hate getting late because when a late person comes to school or to class, it focuses the attention of everyone on you. And since I hate attention, I couldn't help but get even angrier whenever I think of that one guy who ruined my plans. "Now what?." I sighed.  I know I shouldn't be upsetting Harris today because it's the first day of class and I have a favor to return, but since I'm half an hour later, I decided to skip class instead of standing here like a freak. However, it rather startled me when the entrance door opened and I saw a fine-looking man standing in front of me looking confused.  "Excuse me, miss? Do you need something?" He asked politely.  Of course I need something! I need to attend class! "No, nothing, I uhm was just checking about something." I lied and turned my back on him when he pulled me in and smiled at me.  "Are you Violet Midnight?" He asked looking so charming.  "Yes, but I wasn-" "I found Violet Midnight!" He shouted and my eyes widened when everyone looked at me with curiosity as if they were all waiting for me.  When they cleared a path for me to walk in, I saw Harris in the front smiling and proudly called my name.  "Ah yes, this is Violet Midnight, my very own scholar here in Imperial High. She will also be in-charge to train and help the Class-Five excel their respective ranks. Violet, you may stand here in front to receive your leader badge." He said and I awkwardly stood there with glaring eyes while finding my very own classmates.  Great.  Responsibilities.  I just hope they're not such a pain in the ass like that silly boy I just met. "Why didn't you tell me you were going to assign me for this?" I whispered to Harris.  "Because if I told you earlier about this I'm sure you will not take it." "But-" "Relax, Violet this school is different from yours I'm sure you'll fit in. By the way your classmates are situated on your left side." He added and I immediately focused my eyes on them trying to figure out what kind of group mates they will be.  Surprisingly, Class-Five looked so calm and peaceful just like the others were, so I thought they will be fine.  Argh! I don't even know how am I capable to train them?!  After a few minutes of introducing each class leaders it is now time to introduce the school students governors. It happens that they all belonged to Superior Ranks and was personally picked by Harris and the School Administrators, however it's just weird as to why the school owner didn't showed up today. I wouldn't bother not seeing him or her today though since this was just a small gathering session.  "Let me introduce to you the five student governors!" They called them and my eyes suddenly shifted to that one person.  "You! How dare-"  "Violet? Are you okay?" Harris asked me and fisted my hand to stay calm. I don't want him to know that I met one of the student governors who happened to get me in trouble. I don't want him to worry about me.  "Nothing, I just thought I saw someone familiar." I lied.  "Students of Imperial High let me introduce you the Five Student Government."  "Psh, look at him looking all fine and well when he almost died earlier." I commented and rolled my eyes. However it was when I noticed he was so clean after all the blood he shed earlier. I shrugged my shoulders.  Maybe he's just used to do it. "First let's call Gentlemen Dale Russel, he's responsible for Imperial High student security and also the best hitman we have." "Second, Lady Governor Alice Delancey, she's assigned as the Imperial High student secretary and is also one of best archer lady we have."  "Third, Gentlemen Dax Lawrence, he's assigned in the Imperial High Information System and also one of our best hackers we have." "Fourth, Gentlemen  Caleb Duke, of course our very own Vice President of Imperial High and also one of our very best swordsmen and martial apprentice. He's responsible for keeping Imperial High in peace and harmony along with the ruling of the President." "Fifth, Gentlemen Pierce Danger as Imperial High's Student President  and also one of our very best hitman, martial arts black belter and swordsmen. A superior who's responsible to keep Imperial High protected, at peace and harmony with Imperial High's crest on the line."   As I stood there quietly, my thoughts scrambled in shock because that only means he's nothing but a big trouble maker. Of course gangsters and enemies will always come for him because he's an unexpectedly leading superior of all of us. Everyone here likes to be him, and everyone here will want him dead because that's the school rule, if you're weak you will get replaced and if you get replaced that means you're a useless leader, and being a leader means everything, cause it simply means gaining power.  I silently observed his actions and he's not bad for a leader but his attitude is the one thing that's terrible. He's lacking social skills which is a leader must have. Then I looked at the vice president who 'shining brightly in his perfectly replenished uniform, I could definitely say he's popular base on every girl's reactions here, that's simply because he's the kind of prince charming with a shining shimmering armor.  Then this asshole gave his speech: "Welcome students of Imperial High I will not make my speech long because I'd rather like to get straight to the point. This year we will be training hard to be one of the strongest students of our own country, not only for power but also for bringing justice equally for our poor people. We young people will serve as a good influence to everyone after we've been outcastes to our following homes. In Imperial High we're all equal and I want all of us to make a difference by being trustworthy and honest."  "Psh trustworthy my ass." "But of course not all of us can manage our differences easily, since we've all come from our dark pasts and has secrets. Imperial High set up some rules and that we needed to obey, blood shedding and gangster fights are welcome but if one of you gets defeated every member will receive a consequence from the student government. Your allowances and special necessities will be disabled and of course everyone will get detained because in reality, you've already  committed treason for destroying the country's allies."  "You will also receive your uniforms right after we start our official classes tomorrow. Curfews must be followed as well, no one is allowed to be seen outside after the bell rings on 9pm, anyone that will be caught will receive minus points cause every student here is graded with 1000 points each, if that points becomes zero, you will be expelled."  "If you have questions you can save them for later cause right now we need to meet our following classmates and enjoy the refreshments we personally arranged just for you."  "There's a party in here?" I asked Harris.  "Yes, parties and drinking is allowed here in Imperial High, since we respects freedom, go on meet your classmates now Violet." Harris said and left after he was called for a meeting with the administrators.  Great.  Drinking huh?  "Hey, you're Violet right? Our leader?" A beautiful sexy girl approached me.  "Yes? Why?"  "Come on! Class five is here!" She said and pulled me in to meet them.  "Hey guys here she is! Our leader!"  "Wow we have a girl leader?"  "Yeah right feminism at it's finest."  "So what she's gonna teach us huh? Make up?"  They kept on mocking me which is making my mood shift into different places.  Should I yell? Or should I stay calm?  Anyways since classes hasn't officially started yet, I played along with them, pretending to be the nicest girl they have ever met.  "Hahaha funny right? I also never thought men could teach us more efficiently than woman? Because you know? They're heads are full of imaginary scenarios." I said while smiling.  "Oohhh I'm starting to like her." The girl who pulled me in said to me.  "Hi, I'm Marissa and this two ducklings are Mason and Jason, don't get bothered by them though, they don't even know what they're saying." She said to me and I'm slightly surprised.  This is actually my first time talking to a girl my age.  Maybe Harris is right Imperial High might be indeed different.  Suddenly my senses took place when someone touched me without my permission. It was one of the other guys from my class who probably thought I'm an easy one here. And after I receive a second touch beneath my bottom, I turned around and took his hand to twist and bend it harder so he could feel pain like exactly what I wanted him to.  "Guys guys guys! Help!" This maniac boy cried.  "Sorry Phil but I think you deserve it." The other girls said.  "So he's been doing this to all of you?" I asked and the girls said yes.  "Yeah," Marisa answered me.  "What no! They're just lying! Man help me!"  "Sorry man but she's our leader, I don't want to risk my points here." His friends said.  I smirked.  "I see that no one wants to help you? Are going to keep lying or not?" I asked him and tightly twisted his hand.  "OUCH! FINE FINE! IT'S MY FAULT I'M SORRY!" He finally apologizes so I needed to do the leader remarks. "IF I EVER CATCH YOU HARMING THESE GIRLS OR ME AGAIN YOU WILL NOT ONLY END UP WITH A TWISTED HAND, I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE YOU LOSE THEM." I said and releases him after.  "I'm sorry! I promise I won't!" He promised and returned back to his friends then I shouted.  "This counts to all of you understand! If I ever catch anyone hurt your classmates I'm going to make sure you crawl the day after tomorrow, understand!" I commanded and surprisingly they all stood in chorus by saying: "YES, MAAM!"  "Good." I said and returned to my usual self again.  Ugh not my leader skills again, I hate it whenever my dominant self takes over cause I can't stop and it's addicting to do good which I've been trying hard to conceal all of these years. I hate getting abused like what parents did to me. Soon when everyone settled and knew that they should respect me, the asshole came in ruining my peace.  "It's Pierce Danger!."  "Don't tell me he's going to our superior leader?"  "What a perfect duo, the Terror Queen and Dangerous Prince blended together."  "So this is class-five? Wow! You have such an impressive leader Pierce." The charming prince commented and I almost got annoyed of him.  First, it's because he surprised me earlier and I embarrassingly stood in front because he yelled out my name publicly. Second, it's because his flowering words are too childish and unimpressive for me to hear. I mean doesn't he gets tired impressing a woman? He's got a lot here! "Shut up." Pierce and I both said in chorus which made the vice president's face brightened. "Wow, you both even look compatible together. I'm sure you'll be a great leaders." He said.  "Urgh of all sections why is he here?" I whispered to myself.  "It's not like I even wanted to be here." The arrogant jerk heard me and replied.  Urgh! this creature is insanely killing my patience.  "So I guess I'll have to leave you both and settle your unfinished businesses, I have to meet my classmates as well." The vice president excuses himself.  I sighed.  So I'm stuck with him in this class? And what? We're both assigned as leaders?  Harris? What exactly are you planning to do with me here?  After minutes of silently avoiding each other, he finally opens his mouth and said: "Thank you but I didn't really needed your help earlier, what you did for me only made things get even worse. I hope you're prepared." Then smirked and left me with a frustrating mind.  What the hell Violet? You've made yourself involved in a gangsters trouble again!
