Chapter Fourteen

"Three, two, one. The Team of Music!" We all chanted together and got into position on stage. I looked at everyone, to make sure they were all ready, and got a nod from everyone. I motioned for Willow and her husband to open the curtains. So, I began.

"You always take my breath away. You make my heart skip a beat when you look at me. You've got a twinkle in your eye. You make me laugh until I cry. But you won't open up your heart to me. You're scared I'll break your heart like the others did.

Daphenie and Savannah joined in with me as Nate, Andrew, Davis and Rick danced around us.

"You don't have to be afraid. You don't need to push me away. I promise you my love is safe. I won't break your heart. I promise. Your heart is safe with me."

Daphenie and Savannah sang the next part without me. While they sang I danced around the stage and blew a kiss to Nathan.

Daphenie sang the next part by herself.

Everyone clapped and cheered. I waited for them to quiet down, so I could speak without having to speak over them.

"That was my song 'Let me love you '. Now, we will be singing 'I'll give you my heart '. Ready guys?"

"We're ready, Grace." They all answered. One after another. I counted to three after the music began.

"I know that you love me. I know that you care. If you shout out my name. Baby, I'll be there. Whenever you need me, I'll be by your side. You don't have to worry about me."

Me, Daphenie and Savannah sang this part together.

I sang this part alone.

Daphenie and Savannah sang this following part together.

Andrew and Rick sang the next part together.

Now, me, Daphenie, Savannah, Davis, Nate, Andrew and Rick sang the final part of the song together.

While I waited for everyone to stop clapping and cheering again, I locked eyes with Nathan and smiled. Finally, everyone was quiet again, so I could speak.

"We have two more songs to sing for everyone. This next song is titled 'One true love '. Everyone ready?!"

"Yeah!" Everyone shouted in response.

All of my crew nodded at me, when I looked at each of them. James and Asia began strumming their guitars. Austin began drumming. Summer began playing the piano. I counted to three and me, Daphenie, Davis and Nate began singing the first part of the song together.

"You're the one for me. You're my better half. You're the only one I dream of. I dream of spending the rest of my life with you. You complete me. You make me whole."

Me, Daphenie and Savannah sang this next part together.

Now, Daphenie and Savannah sang this part together.

"When I can't complete a sentence, you know just what I'd say. When you came into my life I thought it was all a dream. Then you looked into my eyes. I smiled and blushed, because you were too much. You came over to me and you were all I could see. Everything else was gone."

This part was sang by me, Savannah, Andrew and Rick.

"You made me laugh, which made you smile. Then we talked for a while. When we had to part, we were both so sad. Then we kept seeing each other. Everyday, until we got together. You found I was your one true love. I found you were my one true love. So we told our friends and they said congratulations. Having each other is more than enough to have in our lives."

The next part me, Daphenie and Savannah sang together.
