Chapter 9: I love her..

Liam POV;

I watch as she walked away. I was furious. I marched to my dads office, I let myself in with out knocking.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?” I yelled at my dad.

“Excuse me?” He said.

“Why did you let her go. You should of fired him.” I stated.

“Listen here, last I check, this is my business. I can do what I want. I gave them a choice, they took the second option. Which was letting one of them go. But I’m letting them decide.” He said to me.

“Why? He doesn’t deserve this job, or her at this point.” I said getting more angry.

“Really? Because last I checked, you don’t deserve this, job or my money at that. You need to watch who your talking to. If it was anyone of my employees, to be honest, the assistant would of been the one fired. That how it does. Especially after the fact she was too drunk to come into work on a week day. And I am sure it wasn’t her idea. So watch your self.” He started, “Now get out of my office.”

He added before, I walked out. “I need to see you and your brother in here before you guys leave today.”

I rolled my eyes and walked out.

I went find Spencer. Of course he was sitting at a desk eating.

“Bro, I might of just f***** up,” looking at him.

“What did you do now?” He asked.

“I told dad about Ashlee and Logan.” I said.

“Are you a dumba***? He gonna fire her now.” He stated,

“Yeah, I didn’t think that one through. I think I’m gonna go talk to her. Dad is letting one of them go buy they get choice which one.” I said.

“Listen, bro. I hate him as much as you hate him. But we’re her best friends if she wants to be with him. Maybe we should let her.” He said to me.

“Uhm, no? Excuse me, she never better, he isn’t good for her.” I stated.

“Then who is?” He said.

“To be honest, me! I have liked her since the day I met her now I’m falling for her and he getting in the damn way.” I said, not believe I just said that out loud.

“You like her? I also like her that way too but I’m not go make her do something she want to do so she hates me.” He said.

“She will not hate me. I know she won’t.” I said, “by the way dad wants to talk to us before we leave, so let’s do this now so I can leave.”

We walked over to his office, and knocked, he told us to come in.

“What’s up dad?” Spencer asked

“Let’s talk because I’m leave here after this.” I stated.

My dad rolled his eyes after I said that.

“Your mom and I were talking…I was supposed to go see this building about 1 hour away, to look at to branch out my business. Your mother thinks it’s a good idea to let you both go and check it out. To give your more responsibility, I don’t agree with it, but your mom wouldn’t take no for an answer. I need you guys to go Tuesday.” He said.

I was kinda shocked at what he just said.

“I can’t go dad. I have other affairs to deal with.” Spencer said.

“Fine what about you.” He asked me.

“I guess I can.” I said.

Well good, see if someone will go with you so I have two opinions, maybe ask Ashlee.” He said.

Just then that gave me an idea. If she agrees to go then I can get her away from Logan, and have some time with just her and I to talk.

“Just one thing, the person you have to meet only at 5 am. so if you wanna go up and get an hotel, the night before you you don’t have get up that early, I’m ok with it and will pay for it.” He said.

A whole night with her at that, he will be great. I agreed and walked out now I just gotta convince her to go with me.

As I walked out of the building, I tried calling her. But went right to voicemail. I decided to go to her house to see if she was home. I wanted to see anyway. I got in my car and took off.

I finally made it to her apartment complex, I got outa my car and started heading up. I reached her door and knock on it, no answer knocked again, no answer. I decided to let myself in, I unlocked the door, I called out for her. I saw her bag she had at work on the couch. So which means she’s been here or she’s home I walked passed the living room, and into the kitchen, called out to for her. Just then I saw a note on the counter, with my name on it. It read,

Liam,

I knew you would come check up on me after today. I just want to be alone to think about what is gonna happen Monday. I will for sure call you tomorrow. I just don’t want to talk to anyone today. Thanks for always look out for me, bud.

I sighed. I decided I would leave.

I hope she isnt mad at me for what I did. I guess I’ll just talk to her tomorrow. I decided I wanted to go have a good time, so I called my brother and discuss about going out tonight and having a good time.
