Nobles moved in their carriages. There was a line formed by these carriages. The people were running with them. They ran for a while and, after reaching some distance, they began walking, but they never stopped. In front of those people, a few of them were leading them. If not for them, those people wouldn’t be alive. There were four women. Those four women were Angelina, Eliza, Martha, and Bianca. At the time when the demons entered the human realm. Martha was in the room in the academy. She sensed that some unknown people had reached the Varda kingdom. She sensed their presence as if they were all stronger demons. She quickly took out a sphere and chanted a spell. Then the figures of those demons appeared in that sphere. Her face became pale, she once again took the sphere and verified what she had seen. “Demons. How did they get here?” She was feeling tensed and anxious. “Now is not the time. I have to do something. She knew about the demons, because she had records of an ancient war. She knew exactly how powerful those demons were. If they broke the barrier, the means itself indicated how capable the demons were of coming towards their kingdom. She quickly summoned all the faculty and informed them to evacuate as many people as possible. She briefed them about the oncoming crisis. They had to soon leave the kingdom. When the demons entered the kingdom and passed through the streets, everyone saw them. On a busy day, two more people saw them. That Angelina and Eliza, were in a carriage moving towards the castle. They also saw demons. When they saw them going towards the palace, they wanted to move fast, but then the people from the academy came and started telling them to leave immediately. They told the demons who went into the palace. Angelina heard everything they said and was worried about her son. They started running towards the palace. After going for a distance, they heard the screams of the soldiers. They stopped suddenly and she began to worry about the king. There were few people in the streets. Those people collapsing and crying in fear. Angelina and Eliza saw them, then they took those people and escaped with them. She didn’t have much time to think as she decided to go with people. Eliza, who was worried about her brother, also went with her mother. Those people were so afraid that they weren’t able to move a step. So, with heart-filled sadness, one left her son and the other left her brother. Those demons have not chased them. They let them leave. They got what they wanted, so they didn’t go after them. The kingdom and city and its city were left with only demons now. It has become lifeless. There were no humans in the kingdom except for the king. He was still lying in the hall. They weren’t able to warn him but they escaped the danger. Their hearts were filled with sadness and sorrow. Martha tried to console them. After a while, all of them gathered. The situation now seemed to be thorny. There were many people and no food. Also, they don’t know where they are. The group was also so big, with more than 200 people. An entire kingdom was reduced to mere hundreds. It was only done by a group of demons. Martha managed to arrange the food by hunting some animals and settling for the knight. “What should we do now?” Martha said. Angelina was also with her. A few of the teachers of the academy. “I think we should go a little more. What if those devils come after us? It would be dangerous. We will go in the direction of north. My husband once said there is a large empire. We can, maybe, ask them for help,” Angelina suggested. Now she put aside her grief and acted like a queen. All of them were looking up to her as she was the previous queen. The disaster which struck them made them become hopeless. All of them agreed to her decision. It would have been better if we had gone a little bit far from the kingdom. “Hunt more animals and store the food. Check for any edibles in the forest. We can use them in our travels,” Angelina suggested. After resting the night, they started moving. They used noble carriages to get the food they caught. Surprisingly, Thessa was among them. She was in the group. Her father sent her away when he moved towards the palace. He had taken his army to the palace which was killed by Mathews. She survived the disaster and now she was quietly moving with them. She offered her carriage to carry the food. 15 days later. They reached a village. It was a small town. Only a few people lived in that. All of them seemed like farmers and their families. They slowly traveled for 15 days, taking the time whenever they needed. They also secure the food when they get more. Like that, they reached a village. Angelina was in the front. After traveling for 15 days, they first saw the village. Seeing these people, a middle-aged man approached them. All of them were in roughed-up clothes. “How can I help?” the middle-aged man asked them. “Do you know the way to the empire?” Angelina asked them. They traveled for days but they didn’t see any villages or at least even a person. All they encountered were wild animals. They took care of those animals. That man looked at them with a surprised look. “Where are you from?” He asked them politely. “We are a traveling group. We are going to the empire. But we don’t know the exact route,” she said. “Well, if you traveled with this many people, it would take you ten more days or less. That is if you didn’t encounter any wild beasts or orcs.” He talked about the distance and tried to warn them. The orc population was more in the surroundings of the empire.
