17 Sydney sat in the waiting room while Jessie went to get them some coffee. Her Nan was in surgery. She'd tripped on the stairs and broken her ankle. Having Jess with her was a godsend. When the hospital called, they told her it would be a few hours before they could get her into surgery to reset the bone. They had her on morphine and she was resting comfortably. Jessie returned with the coffee. “Thank you. I'm so grateful I caught you as you got home from work. It means a lot having you here with me. I just spoke to Brian.
