When are you coming to see me in person? Lilly sat staring at the message on the screen. She couldn't believe Shane really wanted to see her in person. They had been sending messages back and forth for months now. When do you want me to come see you? She typed back playfully. This Friday. He replied matter of factly. Why can't you come see me? She responded. It's easier if ou come see me. He answered. I can't fly out to see you, I'm broke remember. Plus just because we have been talking alot doesn't mean you won't turn out to be some psycho killer lol. She replied hoping to gently turn him down. I can buy your ticket and one for a friend. I do have a brother here incase you turn out to be the psycho killer lol. He replied. Lilly sat back looking at the screen. Did he really just offer to buy two plane tickets? Should she go? She knew who she was taking with her. Did I scare you off? He messaged. She sat for a moment longer and replied. No, I was just thinking it over... if you buy the tickets for me and my friend Misty, then yes I will come see you this Friday. A few seconds later a link appeared in her email for a comfirmation of two plane tickets on hold for her on Friday Morning. Your tickets have been ordered as requested my beatuy, I will see you Friday. He messaged and closed the chat leaving her no room for arguement. She smiled and shook her head thinking to herself, now it was time to go tell Misty about their trip. She walked down the stairs and found Misty binge watching "Arrow" on Netflix. Lilly sat down, grabbed the remote and paused the show. "Hey, I was watching that." Misty whinned. "How do you feel about going to Mississippi this weekend?" Lilly asked ignoring her best friend's whinning. "Now Lilly why would we be going to Mississippi and how would we afford it?" Misty asked with her eyebrow raised at Lilly. "You remember the guy I have been talking to Online? Well, he sort of wants to meet in person and bought us both tickets to fly out this Friday." Lilly said in a rush, "I really want you to go with me." She added looking pleadingly at her best friend. "You are really going to meet him?" Misty asked. "Yes, but I don't want to go alone." Lilly stated. "Please come with me. If he turns out to be a creep then at least we get a free trip." Lilly smiled. Misty looked at Lilly for a long minute and rolled her eyes, "Fine but if he turns out to be a freak, I get to punch him in the nads. Got it?" "Got it!" Lilly laughed. "Are you going to tell Nissa?" Misty asked. "Of course not! She would never let me go. I may be an adult, but she might tie me to a chair." Lilly joked. Her older sister Nissa is very protective. She has been for Lilly's whole life, but since their mother's death two years ago, Nissa was dangerously over-protective. "She's going to kill you when she finds out." Misty replied shaking her head. "Or you, for not talking me out of it." Lilly smiled. The two laughed together for a minute and restarted the movie, relaxing into the evening.
