Avon's POV
The following days became chaotic when the media found out that I am engaged to Jeremiah.
They bombarded me with questions and requested an interview but I always refuse because I don't think there is a need for that.
I don't want them to know every detail about my personal life. It is much better to filter out the information that I am giving them for my peace of mind.
"Are you sure you won't accept this project Avon?" my manager asked me and I can by the way she looks at me that she disagrees with my decision but I already made up my mind.
I nod my head without any hesitation.
"I will be busy preparing for my wedding, I'm sorry," I politely uttered.
She let out a deep breath and then nodded her head.
"As long as you are not quitting," she told me which made me smile.
