Avon's POV
My heart felt happy when I felt my mother's warmth again.
She became thinner and the dark under her eyes became even more visible but despite those changes, the way she carries herself is still the same.
She still looks elegant and beautiful.
"It took me some time to get our mansion from the bank but I finally did it, Mom, this mansion belongs to Lauder again," I happily uttered. She roamed her eyes around as if remembering all the time we spent together as a family.
"Nothing changed. This mansion still looks the same," she commented then faced me.
"You don't have to do this though," she uttered while looking at me.
"This mansion brought you pain. It didn't even give you a happy childhood," she added but I smiled at her and then shook my head.
