Avon's POV
I stayed at the hospital until Mathew was discharged. I accompanied him to Forter's mansion even though I knew that I am welcome in that place.
When we reached the mansion I saw Elizabeth Forter waiting outside. When I stepped outside my car I saw how her stares pierce through me.
I followed Jeremiah as they walked towards the front door.
"What is this woman doing here Jeremiah?" she asked while looking at me intently.
"I am here to take care of my son Ma'am," I politely responded because I don't want to act rude in front of Mathew. I know Mathew loves his grandma so the least I can do is respect this old woman even though I already knew that she will treat me the opposite way.
"My son's fiancé is here I am sure she can take care of Mathew as much as you do, right Avon?" E
