Alpha Greg Marsten

Greg looked at his wife and hugged her deeply. She melted into his chest as the heavy sobs showed no sign of slowing. They had just received word from their son that after 16 years he was still alive and would be able to see him again soon. "Thank the Goddess finally, he was finally free. I know we have to keep up appearances for now, but I can not wait until I can hold our precious son in my arms again." Cried Luna Trish. Alpha Greg acknowledged his Beta Bruce as he came into the room. His son, the future Beta Jim had escaped back when Sillas was captured. At least they knew he was alive after many attempts to get him released, without the Alpha at the time knowing who Sillas was. Alpha Curtis was so bloodthirsty, and they could not risk him knowing Sillas was a future Alpha as well. He would have been killed immediately. Bruce and Greg mind-linked each other and then Bruce had his mate Kim come to comfort her Luna. This was so the men could discuss strategy if needed to bring Sillas home. Kim came in and went to Trish right away, nodding at her Alpha." Luna lets go and plan the celebration for when Alpha Sillas returns. You know it will be the event of the century! We have so much to do!" Trish looked at her friend and nodded," Yes we have to add on to the front of the banquet hall/ There is no way it can hold all the people that will want to come and celebrate my son's return. We have expanded our territory and this should have been started months ago anyway. Please forgive me, my love. I will see you later. Bruce take care of him while I am busy." Bruce smiled and bowed to her, making her laugh. " Alright, what did you find out about the Delta Pack today? Did your contact see Sillas?" Asked Alpha Greg. He was looking out the window at the overcast day, it was if the Goddess was in tune with his mood. Alpha Petra may have let go of all the prisoners, but there was no information on her as to her morals and or her leading abilities. She is so young and no one knew anything about her. She was always away at boarding schools. It was rumored that she did not agree with the way her father had run the pack and often argued openly with him. That was why she was not at any pack functions that a child of an Alpha would attend. Bruce walked over to the desk and sat in a chair. " My contact is the cook there, my Aunt. She did tell me that your son is well on his way to a full recovery. She has been making sure the two of the prisoners that are there are getting extra portions of food. Sillas has started training with Alpha Petra and her warriors. They are preparing to go to the ceremonies we are attending and the mood of the house is festive for a change. This Alpha is kind and generous but no pushover from what my Aunt says, and she has been there for over twenty years." Alpha Greg turned to him and Bruce thought he had seen a glimpse of the old friend he knew back in college. Happiness in his eyes, especially the day he first held his son in his arms on the day he was born. Birthday day Victor woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs wafting up to his room. He hurried into the bathroom to get ready for the day. Not only was it his birthday, but today was graduation. Franco and a few of the other guys already texted him this morning excited about the ceremony tonight. It will be a blast and hopefully a night to remember. His mom yelled as soon as he turned off the shower. "Come on slow poke. You need to eat before school. And you need to get out of here, so we can get this house ready for your party later." " Ok, I am getting dressed, Mom. Be down in a minute." He yelled back to her. His mom and grandparents were sitting at the kitchen table with a huge buffet-style breakfast on the counter. There were waffles and pancakes, muffins and bacon and eggs. Two kinds of juice and a carafe of coffee. Victor grabbed a plate and filled it to the rim with all the different food. This morning he woke up even more famished than he was normally. His mom handed him a wrapped gift as soon as he sat down. " Do not open it until you finish eating. Baby, I am so proud of you." She beamed at him as he took the gift. It was not bigger than a watchbox. But he did have an idea that it would make his day when he did open it. He finished his breakfast while they all talked and ate. While his mother cleared the dishes and his grandmother put the dishes into the dishwasher, he looked at the box. " Why did you get me something now? I can't wait to open it at the party later?" His grandfather spoke up first as the women sat down at the table again. " No son, this is one of many gifts you will be receiving today. Go ahead and open it." Victor smiled and unwrapped the box. Inside was a set of car keys. He had his license for a few months now and was driving his mother's old jeep when she did not need to use it. He looked at everyone surprised. "My own car," He got up and hugged each of the elders in turn. " I can't believe it." Darcy laughed and said," Well, now that you are graduating and have training for the Beta position, we thought you should have your vehicle. You will not have to wait on any of us and be more independent. I will pay for the insurance for three months, then you are on your own after that. " She laughed, tussling his hair on the last statement. His grandmother suggested they go outside. In front of the house was a new SUV metallic blue. It was a Ford Escape.
