AURORA’S POV
“We won’t be able to refund you the remaining semester,” the bored-looking admission clerk told me.
I nodded. “I understand.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to finish the semester and then transfer?”
“I’m moving, and this transfer makes the most logical sense to me right now.”
The clerk looked down at the paperwork, offering a small sigh. “I’ll have the paperwork finished for you before the end of this week.”
I grinned, standing to leave. “I appreciate it. In the meantime, I guess I can stop attending classes?”
She shrugged. “Correct. Unless you want to.”
“Thanks. That’s all I needed.”
As I reached for the door handle to leave, the clerk called out, "Enjoy Ridelia! I hope your family supports your decision."
I looked back at her, a questioning look on my face. Her eyes
