June wakes up on the night of a full moon, realizing that she had been reborn into another pack, three years later, after being attacked and killed on a quest to find the love of her life.

The whole environment, although different, had many familiar faces.

Heartbroken by this betrayal, June quests for revenge, but this suffers many setbacks as she discovers that their lives are not as it seemed on the outside.

How does June navigate her quest for revenge and the discoveries attached to the unfolding of their lives? What happens when the past she remembers isn't quite the past Apollos had?

CHAPTER ONE: On a Rescue Mission
JUNE'S POV Three years ago The wailing and weeping did not stop. How could it? The half moon pack had raided the pack, capturing the Alpha and many war men. Wolves trained in combat and weaponry. After three days of attacks, they finally won. I couldn't care any less about the Crystalline pack. They were no different from the Half-moon pack and, quite frankly, they had met the judgment they deserved. My only heartache was the other half of me, now in custody. ‘Apollos,’ I walked through the Crystalline pack, now nothing but ash and dust. The women were seated on the floor and wept bitterly. ‘My name is Jessica, and my family were the only Omegas of the Crystalline pack.’ It was a small family, consisting of my mate and I. Well, now he was on his way to the half-moon pack, where he was to serve a term of s*****y. I couldn't sit back and fold my hand. I couldn't let that happen. Hurriedly, I packed a travel kit and set on my way. I was ‘on a rescue mission.’ There was never a point where weak wolves were allowed outside the pack. We were protected within the boundaries, lest we got picked by a rival pack and used as a tool against our pack. It was my first time outside the boundaries of the Crystalline pack boundaries and as I walked through the Silver birchwoods, I was shivering in fear. ‘For Apollos,’ I took frequent deep breaths. ‘Retreat, Jessica! Now!’ came Zoe's warning as I drew towards the middle of the Silver birch forest. Zoe was my wolf, and next to Apollos, my mate, she was my favorite companion. I didn't have the luxury of companions. ‘Run, Jess! Now!’ her prompts grew louder and stronger. I immediately took to flight, with no destination in mind. A sharp piercing pain went from my back through all my body, as an arrow pierced through me from behind. I dropped to the floor, face forward. No one came to claim the hunt. In my moment of weakness, I filled my heart with memories. Happy times shared with the one I love so much. ‘Apollos,’ Slowly, but surely, bled out unto death. ‘I’m coming, my love.’ ******************************* I slowly opened my eyes to the glittery rays of the sunrise. The sky above, shielded by an unfamiliar ceiling. “She's finally awake!” A high-pitched voice yelled, with the most excitement. I didn't get to ask who she was, before she fled out of the room. “She's awake!” She ran back in with an elderly man following behind her. He checked my body and pressed some herbs on my body. It didn't feel out of place, since my last memory was bleeding out in the Silver Birch forest. “She really has recovered,” he said. “She can resume serving the Alpha tomorrow, after a good meal and proper rest,” the elderly man walked out. ‘of course,’ I rolled my eyes. An accurate reminder that I was an Omega and was only designed for service. “June!” The lady threw her arms around me in a hug, and it got confusing from this point. ‘My name was Jessica,’ I said that correctly, ‘was’. Walking over to the mirror, I found myself with ginger, pixie curly hair. A 5 ‘8 tall body, brown skinned with deep blue eyes. It was the direct opposite of everything I remembered. A fat, light skinned woman, hated by all. ‘June it was,’ I ran a quick bath, and ate a nice plate of food, served by the maid who did not leave my side, since I opened my eyes. “I know you just recovered dear,” the kind lady said. “But the Alpha cannot come to these parts of the pack house, and he demands to see you immediately,” she said. The Alpha's demand did not come as a surprise to me. Pack house royals would always be high and mighty and expect the world to revolve around them. As an Omega, I was used to their cruelty by now, even in a different body. “How long have I been gone?” I asked the lady, as we walked to the royal house to see the Alpha. “Gone?” She exclaimed. “June, you've been ill for three months,” she responded. “Right,” I whispered, trying to catch in on my new life. The Royal house was glorious, even bigger than what I remembered. Our heads were bowed as we waited for the Alpha's arrival. “Luna is here,” she announced. I lifted my head immediately, to a heavily pregnant woman. Her blonde hair and ocean blue eyes struck me with a sense of familiarity. “Stacy?” my jaw dropped. Stacy was a friend of mine from Crystalline pack. Although she was not an omega, she was the only one who would associate with me and show any care. ‘I had been reborn as an Omega to serve Stacy?’ Realizing she would not recognize me, I took a deep breath and bowed my head to her. “Luna,” I hailed. She walked right past me, giving me a stare that revealed how disgusted she was by my presence. I wasn't quite sure what was going on. “Good to see you survived, June,” she said. Her tone and actions greatly betrayed her words. Her every step oozed with pride, and it amazed me how people change. My gaze was firmly fixed on her, following as she took her seat in the courtroom. The maiden who had brought me immediately pulled me down, bringing me to my knees. Her head was bowed to the floor and I immediately acted in the same manner. “The Alpha is here!” There was a loud announcement from the door. We didn't dare to lift our heads. The Alpha's steps were terrifying, merely listening to them. As his shadow fell on us, his muscular shape and built up arms were evident through his shadowy image. “Rise!” His voice came thunderously, but also with a sense of familiarity. We promptly obeyed his order. “Apollos!” I gasped.
